Every time my grandson comes for the weekend, we head to Cora's for brunch. The food is great and plentiful. They are fantastic at catering to special dietary restrictions. We always ask (and wait if necessary) to be seated in MaryAnne's section. She is a wonderful, attentive, helpful waitress - and she remembers what we like to drink, and our dietary issues. Would I recommend Cora's? Absolutely!
Always have a great meal here. Been to locations from Montreal to Vancouver and is always fantastic.
Really enjoyed Cora's new menu. Service was fast and customer friendly. I had issues with a large truck with its alarms going off in the parking lot on a cool day.My problem was two little chihuahuas scared out of their wits inside the vehicle. I explained to my host and he went table to table until he found the people far in the back of the restaurant. They were horrified and fixed problem immediately. The food was great in this bright clean restaurant.Can't wait to try more on the menu.
I had the pleasure of having breakfast at Cora on Saturday. (See photo) I sampled the eggs benidict with bacon,tomatos and chive. While the presintation is very nice, obviously formula, the plating was off. The holindase (out of a packet and not fresh/scratch. I asked.) had been over applied and had flowed over alot of my fresh fruit. Didnt care for that, who wants a banana and cantalope etc covered with hollindase. Latte was below average and no flavors available. I had asked for soft poach and was closer to medium. Yet it was very busy. All in all a slightly wieghted 3 1/2 of 5 (3.75)
I have been to Cora's all over Canada. We almost rented a Cora's for our wedding dinner we have enjoyed it so much in the past. I took a friend from Michigan to the local Cora's today and he was happy with his burger and the portion size as the burger came with the breakfast potatoes and a soup. The red onion came as the only downfall- a 2cm slice of onion, not ringed or anything- straight onion, was on the burger. I had the chicken club which was fine. The food came out fairly quickly (under 10-12 min) and I was happy with the amount of food. I do notice a slight difference in Cora's since we enjoyed her in Ontario five years ago, but it is fairly consistent. My rating is based on value, food quality and service. Value- 2.5-3; food quality 3.5; service 4-4.5. (Portion size was decent but 3 people for 55 bucks for lunch was a surprise...)
I love Cora's! Glad we have one in Red Deer finally. The menu has some great stuff, and some very healthy choices.
The Red Deer location has friendly staff. They could use a bigger parking lot though.
Great food. We decided to try out Coras for breakfast because it was all day, we had a short wait at the door because it was so full but that's usually indicative that it's good food so we decided to wait and try it out. Well we were quite pleased, the meals came and were delicious. All really food, and cooked to perfection. The service was awesome as well. PS the hollandaise sauce is made from scratch and my husband who normally hates hollandaise sauce absolutely loved it.
Excellent Omelette!!. I was all prepared to write a negative review only because of their horrible business hours. The last time I was in Red Deer, I stopped there on a Sunday. But I found the Spinach & Cheddar Omelette was better then good. It was excellent. The service was friendly and fast. Overall the price was reasonable at $11.50 tax included. I found the server was attentive but maybe :) because it was past closing time. I arrived at around 2.45pm and they closed at 3.00pm. AAA. One of the best places I have eaten at. But I still think their business hours suck.
Overall good experience. Not a "wow" experience like what I would have had in the first few weeks of opening, or even in the year afterward. My food was lukewarm at best, still delicious but certainly could have been warmer. Best part of the visit was the service. Kim was the most attentive and friendly server I've ever had!
LOVE this place! Service is always so good and good is amazing!!! Last time we were there we met the owners. They were great and offered suggestions for us. When I said I was very picky about hollandaise sauce they brought us a sample so we could try it!! (It was awesome I'm happy to say) and we went with their suggestions of two different omelets that we then shared to try them both.
Good service. I liked the staff over here...the food was good..wouldnt say excllent.. but i guess it depends on wht you order..

I hate the line up, but this breakkie place is pretty good!!! Almost what my red seal chef hubby could do at home! ;)
Fruity!. Well balanced fruit meals, ideal options for veggie and meat lovers. Large portions, you will leave a happy hippo. Smoothies are always good and sugar free!
Busy, but worth it. There's a reason you have to wait to get a table at Cora - it's that good. The portions are huge for a very reasonable price, the fruit is always very fresh and a nice addition to the meal, and this is one of the easiest places to take young kids for breakfast - you can always find something they can eat!
Their custard is well-made, their crepes are perfect, and the staff function very well together so I never had an empty (or even half empty!) cup of coffee or a dirty dish on the table.
Arrived at Cora at 12:30pm on a Sunday, had to wait in line approx 18mins which is not to bad I guess. Service was awesome food was to die for. Everything was cooked 100% and was able to make healthy choices. Very impressed and I will be back for sure!!!!
Mother's Day Brunch. First time at Cora. Lucked out by getting a table on the patio. Service was good. Presentation of food was good. had the bagel and lox, which was fine. I had a big plate of food, but I didn't feel bloated afterwards because it had so much fruit and not mountains of fried potatoes, hash browns or other empty carbohydrate crap like you get at other breakfast places. On top of that, there was a good variety of fruit. Not just three of the cheapest fruits. We definitely will come back.
Loved it. Got there early on a Sunday. The crepe's were delicious. Kids ate everything on their plates. Owner was on the floor pouring coffee. Will go back many times.
This venue is participating in the Government of Alberta's COVID Program. Really appreciate for looking after customer safety. I am regular customer here - this Restaurant is “Excellent place for breakfast, lovely staff members & owner”. Always served tasteful & warm breakfast. Love the place. Worth waiting in lineup if I have to.
Stopped in while traveling from Vancouver to Fort McMurray for some breakfast. After driving for almost 12 hours the food was absolutely delicious!
When I came back to the truck, It wouldn't start....must have left a light or something on and the battery died.
I went back into the restaurant and the owner came out and gave me a boost.
Even gave me a free dessert for the road!!
As always, the food and the service was great! One of my favorite items on the menu it the Creton. It's the best!! I enjoy it with a little mustard. For some reason, Cora does not serve mustard anymore. How disappointing 😞
Enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Huge amount of food and really good. Eggs were cooked as I like them. Service was good and staff very friendly. Coffee was pricy $3.55
