Went in last night with a gift card from previous owners not knowing it has changed hands. They were not able to redeem the gift card last night but the manager and I came to a resolution today. I appreciated that he did something when really he didn’t have to. Food was really good too!!! Thank you �

Very impressive service, fresh, hot menu items. Butter Chicken wings are out of this world! Beef Vindaloo was so tender and spicy!! (perfect :) Dilbagh and the lads even showed us how the naan is made fresh in house. We will be back!!!

My favorite Indian style restaurant to date... and that includes the place in Little India in Toronto (which was amazing.) The people who serve and cook at Tandoor are very sweet and fun people. Love to take groups there when we have people in from out of town and also to introduce Red Deer people.

This is my go to Indian food restaurant. Through the years Tandoor n Flame has been consistent. Great food, awesome service and wonderful ambience. It is true I have friends from Calgary and Edmonton that would never miss a chance to dine at Tandoor n Flame. People go wild for their unbelievable Nan. I quite often order out from here, recommend Butter Chicken, Coco Nan and Katchcumber salad. Try it you will love it !
Excellent indian food....in Red deer Like Samosa, Pakoda, Dalfry, Panjabi foods. Good in taste for lunch and dinner. Nice home delivary also.
Amazing food! Been here a few times now, and always happy with a full belly. Food is always fresh and hot! The owner is also very friendly and super information and willing to educate about the food. I have tried many things on the menu, and extremely satisfied each time!
Was in town for the day and we could smell the spicy aroma from down the street. We decided to pop into this place for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Lunch buffet was delicious and the price was right. Staff was really kind as well. One of the servers led us to the back for a minute to show us how the naan was made. Very enjoyable first time experience! ;)
Best Indian food in Red Deer. Have not disliked a single item on their buffet. They do lack in a little bit of service but there always kind and the food is amazing.

went first time to tandoor flame and its a wonderful place with very humble service and awesome food, use to go on Indian flame there food is also not so bad but this one is much better, recommended for all, tried there chicken tikka , butter chicken, garlic naan and coco rice.. perfectly spiced i think this one is the best east indian food i had ever have..
Love eating here. Great food and service. tried other 2 indian restaurant as well but this is the BEST indian place in red deer. Recommend everyone.
Great Food and friendly service, buffet is always good but butter chicken & fish pakora is my all time favorite, i use to eat butter chicken all the time but the guy who works there ask me to change and suggest goat curry and trust me its so yummy and fresh. i just love to eat at this place. try once u will never regret.
The food is of a great quality and the staff is always so nice and the service is great. My only suggestion, with regard to the buffet, is to have more of a range of heat levels. Everything on offer is delicious but mild. It would be fantastic to have one feature dish of medium heat and spicy to break up all of the mild dishes. Throwing the hot sauce on doesn't have the same effect of eating an actual vindaloo or chili chicken. Other than that, really good!!!
Delicious food with great service.
It was ok.. Butter chicken was runny and not very spicy. The naan was a little over cooked. The restaurant was nice. I will come back and try some tandoori chicken.

Best Indian restaurant in town !. If you are bored one fine evening and want to try traditional Indian cuisine right here this is your call ! I recently moved to the city and I was looking for perfect place to hv my lunch and I found this restaurant it's located in downtown which is so easy to go swing by and sit for this lovely food ! The food smells fresh and the the food is so flavourful no matter what you order ! And the variety is endless. ! The staff has excellent service and very sweet people ! Highly recommended !!
Loved it!. I am relatively new to Indian food, but last night, my wife and I had a craving for Indian. we found this restaurant on urban spoon whole visiting Red Deer. The food was absolutely amazing! The restaurant decor was simple yet comfortable and pleasant, and the service was great! We strongly recommend thus place!
The food is awesome.Tandoori fish is the best.I tried Indian cuisine al over Canada but got couple of chances to eat at Tandoor'n'Flame and the food tasted the best. And recommend everyone to go and eat there.

Craving quenched with taste buds on an ecstatic high !. So I was feeling surprisingly hungry today after an Easter dinner which seemed to have digested into thin air after a few glasses of red wine. It had been a while since I had some delicious Indian food, so checked online for the good Indian restaurants in town, Tandoor n flame caught my eye since I had passed by it a few times being located in little gaetz, near to the RBC and BMO which is like core downtown to my belief. Me and my friend walked in to an amazing dim light, light indian jazz music ambience. The waiter was prompt to welcome us and seated us pleasantly on the dining table, he came back with the menu and cold water in thick elegant copper glasses in the blink of an eye while I had just turned to look at the collection in the beer fridge to my left. I gazed through the wide menu and thought of starting off with apetizers meanwhile to decided on what to have for the main course. I ordered aloo tikki chat, my friend ordered paneer pakora and a Kingfisher beer each. We started off the beer which seemed not too strong or mellow, dont really remember the taste though as all my mind was on what would be the best dish to order and I discussed the ingredients and preparatoin with my friend who knew about Indian food better. Midway through the beer and while still confused on what to have, our apetizers arrived. I think I drooled a little when the waiter placed my aloo tikki on the table, it even looked gorgeous ! I took a bite while me and my friend discussed with him about the delicacies on offer and the tikki and the sauces felt like heaven in my mouth. I narrowed down to the Goan fish curry which I ordered mild and my friend ordered Malai kofta. To go with it we ordered a butter naan and a garlic naan. My mouth had become really watery after all the food talk and the rest of the tikki smiling at me ! I enjoyed the tikki very much and shared a piece with my friend who offered me a paneer pakora instead which was crispy outside and a soft mildly hardened cheese with a hint of spice inside and realized we could have these appetizers all day. By the time the apetizers and beer was done and we had started talking a bit about about the great long weekend we had, our main course arrived. The goan fish curry had just the right amount of spice and went amazingly well with butter naan. My friend also exclaimed the malai kofta to be delicious and it sure did smell great, We were down to the last two pieces of naan and and realized we need some more to finish the curries, but instead of naan again we thought of giving the saffron rice a try and quickly notified the waiter about it as me and my friend grabbed the last pieces of naan into our plates. I think the waiter had a good eye and brought the saffron rice quickly as we just finished with the naan and took a sip of the cold water. We finished the rest of our curries with rice which looked bright yellow and seemed like it was cooked with some light spices in it, I had some of the rice left over and it tasted good just by itself. I wanted to have some desert too but felt like I was running out of space in my stomach now so ordered some rasmalai, gulab jamun and jalebi for take out, paid up and thanked the waiter and who seemed to be the chef who was refilling the sweets for the splendid and toothsome food which came at a decent price. I came home and just finished the left over deserts, it's been a while since I've felt so completely satisfied about restaurant food. I loved it it there today and I'm really looking forward to check out their buffet someday soon. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who feels like having something different, and the quality would probably amaze you like it felt to me !
Love It!. One of the things my family complained about often when we lived in North Edmonton, is that we could get delivery from every type of restaurant except Indian. I never would have thought that moving to Red Deer would solve that. Not only did I find Indian delivery, finally, but I also found they had a wonderful location for lunches and dinners out. Wonderful all around. Tandoor n Flame is on my family's 'go to' list.
Tandoor n flame's quality of food beats anything I ever had in Edmonton. This is the place to be if you're looking for some exotic food that is tasty and won't disappoint your friends and family. Definitely going back when I'm in red deer again
Great Service & Experience. We were fortunate to come across this restaurant while walking around downtown. Our experience at Tandoor n Flame was fabulous. We had butter chicken, lamb korma, plain and garlic naan and were full to the brim by the end. All dishes were great and the price exceptionally reasonable. Highly recommended.
Homey Cuisine!. Found this awesome little Indian food restaurant in Red Deer this weekend and glad we stumbled upon it when we did. Our tummies were grumbling as we walked into this very cozy establishment, with Indian music playing in the background, it set the atmosphere for a relaxing lunch. Our server was very prompt to take care of us and brought our water in hammered metal drinking cups which added to the authenticity of the Indian culture. I had the Curry Beef with rice and my wife had the Butter Chicken with rice. Both meals were very tasty and the meat tasted like it had been marinated for both dishes. Our taste buds were very pleased and the Naan bread that came with the meal was delicious and made a great finish to get the rest of the sauce off our plates. My wife had a chai tea and I opted for the green tea to send this delicious meal into our tummies. We enjoyed our meal here and would definitely come back again next time we are in Red Deer.
What is in my mouth???. Ok like so many people. I go Indian and order butter chicken. Thought I'd mix it up a bit and try my tongue on something different. Lamb korma. Uuuummmmmm yummmmmmm!!:). My mouth just found a new love. Deliver time was quick. Had debit at door and food was fresh hot and delicious. Oh and NAN bread. Perfect

Tryed something new. Love Indian cuisine tried their goat masala and some other things I have never tried before everything tasted great. service was a bit slow but was fine because the atmosphere was nice only downer was the MMA fighting on the TV.
Awesome food at a reasonable price. Got it as a pick up order. Gave me paper plates and plastic forks etc. Without having to ask.

Excellent Food. I am very glad to see the owner/chef from the old Coronation Inn location. He is such a friendly guy and the food is great. I almost have my punch pass filled up and that means I will get a free lunch soon!
Best Indian Food in Red Deer. Great MUSHROOM dishes.. Love their thali for lunch on sunday only. Especially love their mushroom dishes. Really like their naan as well. Did I mention their mushroom dishes? They're delicious. Friendly staff. Convenient downtown location for lunch.
Pleasant surprise!. Have often thought about trying this spot and finally did tonight. Service was a bit slow as we learned they were a little short-staffed but server was friendly and very courteous. Food was excellent! Significantly better than the hotel place downtown and not jumped up like Astha. We will definitely return and so relieved to find another (rare) good restaurant in Red Deer. Well done!
Don't judge a book from its cover. This Is a very small restaurant with flavor. The staff was nice service was fast the food was great. A taste of India in red deer what else do yo need.

Since eating is mostly about the sense of taste, I have to give top marks to Indian Flame. Flavor Flave must have stopped by because this food has HUGE flavor. I can't find anything like this in Calgary. The naan is amazing. Could have eaten the garlic naan all night.
Great Food. Good Indian cuisine... Been twice great service and nice homy decore with nice sized portions for what you pay for. Definitely will return to this great food place.
Tried the pizza and if you want pizza that is not like every place else... try it as it is great.
