Review Old Mexico Taco Buffet - Red Deer

Dole Perfection
It was really yummy! My favourite was my tortilla soup. Great flavour. Nothing is spicy, so it's nice for people like myself. My friend added jalapenos to his.

We were the only ones in the restaurant when we showed up around 12:45 p.m. on a Saturday. We assumed it was going to be much busier than this. We were a little worried about actually eating because of how empty the place was ( But we stayed based on a referral from a friend of ours.) Once we sat down and the fresh tacos were served. We helped ourselves to the tortillas soup. We couldn't understand why this place was empty. The food was delicious, the staff were fantastic, and the ambiance was as Mexican as you can get. I will be coming back here again when I'm in the area.

Cute little spot that a local recommended. Its buffet only. Lovely assortment of items. The pork sausage and potatoes bravas is so good. Great ice cream for dessert. Reasonably priced. The owners and staff are so kind and attentive.

This is some of the best Mexican food I have ever had and I have eaten a lot cause it's my favourite. The tortilla soup is great, but I went for the TACOS. It's very authentic. The owner told me to order a Paloma instead of a Margarita, and it was very tasty. Definitely will be a regular stop for me!

Great change in the menu! Still awesome food. Not TexMex in here, TRUE & AUTHENTIC Mexican Food!!

I can't say enough great things about this place! 5* Amazing authentic mexican food. Came here for dinner with the family & we all enjoyed our meals. The all you can eat buffet has everything you want when craving mexican food. They have all the taco fixings you can think of chicken, pork & beef and everything is homeade. Make sure to go for extra guac šŸ„‘ they also serve tortilla soup, roasted potatoes & rice at the buffet so make sure you come to this restaurant hungry.

Great price for great food. Honest and authentic Mexican food in a very unassuming place in downtown Red Deer. I particularly enjoyed the unpretentious nature of how the food and restaurant is presented unlike other authentic Mexican restaurants in the big cities that cater to a more yuppie crowd. Very down to earth with great food. Just what i like.
Nora Lamb
Great food, the right mix of flavours and textures. The owner is really friendly.

My kids and I used to LOVE going to the Old Mexico Taco buffet, on the regular. The tortilla soup is ahhhhmAzing! Especially in the winter months. It warms you from the inside out. The kids love making their own tacos. Eating here is a real experience!<br/>Iā€™m sorry to have to report, this place falls short, and itā€™s breaking our hearts. <br/>I understand the lack of shredded cheese, as maybe that is more of a westernized taco addition. And sure, the lemonade is a little weak and watery, and it used to be free, and now they charge too much for it. Still, Iā€™ll pay, because itā€™s a part of the experience. But the consistent absence, of such an integral part of a Mexican feast, my beloved guacamole, with no reduction in price, for when itā€™s not available, which is more often than not... ?!? <br/>This I cannot accept. <br/>I went so far as to bring my own, store bought guacamole, in a sealed container, to satisfy my yearning for this essential aspect of my enjoyment of this delicious authentic Mexican meal. The first time I did it, the owner, whoā€™s always been friendly and engaging, came over and told me, ā€œthatā€™s not made with real avocados. Itā€™s from a powder. Itā€™s garbage. I only use real avocadosā€... <br/>My response: ā€œHmm, it says right here, made with fresh avocados, and I can see avocado pieces in it.ā€ <br/>He says ā€œMine is much better.ā€ <br/>And I reply: ā€œI agree, wholeheartedly! But youā€™re not providing anyā€. <br/>His claim: ā€œItā€™s so hard to get good avocadosā€. <br/>Yet he & I both know, Super Store is just across the street, and they have an abundance of avocados, so this is a hard pill for me to swallow. <br/>Over the next few months, I call a number of times, to inquire, ā€œIs there guacamole today?ā€ The consistent answer: ā€œSorry, no.ā€ <br/>Our taco dreams are crushed. <br/>The kids donā€™t understand my strong feelings over the lack of guacamole. They can live without it. Sadly, I, cannot. <br/>The next time I go to the Old Mexico buffet, itā€™s with a couple of girl friends. Both have Celiac disease, and this restaurant is one of the only ā€˜safeā€™ places for them to eat, which is so appreciated! <br/>Again, I bring a sealed container of store bought guacamole. <br/>Only this time, when I am in the washroom, the owner approaches my friend, and tells her, he feels really bad, as my kids & I are regulars to his restaurant, but asks her to please let me know, I cannot bring food from outside, into his restaurant. Itā€™s against the rules. <br/>Hmph. What am I to do?? <br/>We havenā€™t returned for many months, but lastnight, we had a hankering for an old favourite. We decided to pop in, with fingers and toes crossed, in the hopes there would be guacamole. But NO. <br/>Once again, there was no guacamole. <br/>This wasnā€™t a case of ā€œit was SO busy we ran outā€. This was before the supper hour. So, hopes dashed, AGAIN, we walk away, for what I decide will be the last time. We will not return to the Old Mexico Buffet. <br/>Sad story, but true.

So after reading the reviews I was excited to try out this place. First of the GF and I were done eating in less than 25 mins....itā€™s super quick. The food was good. Nice and fresh!!! We couldnā€™t get margaritas or micheladas because the server didnā€™t know how to make them. And there was no beef selection for tacos. Only chicken and pork. And no guacamole. We were sad....maybe it was an off night but we definitely come back.

This was our first time visiting this restaurant. The owner immediately came over to our table and asked if we had been here before. He explained how the place worked and how the only way to get authentic Mexican food would be to go to a mexican persons house. He said they create the food as if it was in their home. I have to say the experience was wonderful. The food was incredibly delicious. The ingredients were fresh and the pico de gallo was so amazing I could eat it by the bowl. Start with the tortilla soup, you won't be disappointed. A genuine family atmosphere.
Jordanna
Very good food. The pork is really good, and of course the tortilla soup is the best. All their toppings and pico were very fresh. I wish they would have had fish though.. oh well, we will be going back and hopefully they will have some or I will inquire.
Derek
Amazing. Authentic Mexican. Great service. <br/><br/>It's easy to tell the owners are passionate about the food they serve. <br/><br/>Great Mexican soup. <br/><br/>Great everything.

Heard from friends about this place and jade and I decided we would try it, best decision we have made the taco buffet will be a monthly treat I'd say, service was amazing and food was fresh. The family like atmosphere was a true a pleasure and good vibes only in the restaurant. I recommend this place to everyone but it's very unique, you will have to try it to understand what Im saying. Enjoy!

Awesome! Love this place. Affordable and super delicious! Love the fresh ingredients, authentic food, and finally something other than chain food! Owners are super friendly and offer right away to show you how things are done!
Tom Long
You arrive, get a seat preferably the one under the picture of the owners grandfather. Then the owner or his wife come out take your beverage order and then it's off to make your taco or your personalized tortilla soup! The action is simple you have your soft corn taco shells and your fillings, rice, chicken, corn, zucchini, potatoes, beans, pork, grilled onions. Then you move on to the toppings onion and cilantro, home made spicy salsa, homemade guacamole, homemade pico de gallo, to name a few! Same rule applies for the soup except there's tortillas and soup broth to start! <br/>This place is like being invited into there home! <br/>And then if you didn't think it could get any better they have ice cream for dessert! <br/>Again šŸŒ® šŸŒ® šŸŒ® šŸŒ® šŸŒ® out of šŸŒ® šŸŒ® šŸŒ® šŸŒ® šŸŒ®!!<br/><br/>P.S. I drove all the way from Edmonton just to eat here!!

Love going to this place when I'm feeling especially hungry. The owner has an obvious passion for his food and his business. Staff are always friendly and working hard to keep the tasty food topped up. I enjoy being able to add another restaurant to the list of amazing vegan options in the area.

Service: Greeted and welcomed very warmly as soon as we stepped in the door. Ā First time visiting and was politely shown how to maneuver the buffet and how to make the soup properly, this was much appreciated.<br/><br/>Appearance: The restaurant was clean and the bathroom was also clean. The buffet itself is not the prettiest to look at, crock pots are used for the soup and some of the chafers could use an update, they have loose handles and seem a bit unstable. It is also on the dark side and a bit more light would brighten the place up.<br/><br/>Food:<br/><br/>Lunch: We went at lunch time, I am not sure if it is different at supper time, so this review is based on lunch.<br/><br/>Soup - My bowl of soup was made for me by the owner/chef, chips on the bottom, soup broth and then certain items added from the buffet, jalapenos, pico de gallo, a spicy sauce and a touch of sour cream, this soup was good and had a lot of levels of flavor, my only complaint was that it could of been a bit hotter in temperature.<br/><br/>Taco Buffet: Soft tacos are kept in another crock pot and then there are chafers with the following: corn, beans, chicken, pork, mushrooms, potatoes, zucchini with other vegetables and rice. Also there is a cold selection of pico de gallo, onions with cilantro, jalapeno peppers, guacamole, spicy sauce, lettuce, and sour cream. You make as many tacos as you want and the price is $15 per person. For the price you get lemonade, soup and the taco buffet and there is ice cream also available.<br/><br/>Taste: The pickled jalapenos with onions and carrots were delightful, so tasty. The cilantro and onions combo was great because I could actually taste the cilantro. The spicy sauce is actually spicy. Overall the combination of different tastes and the different types of spiciness made great tacos. The ingredients seemed mostly fresh (I question the mushrooms, they seemed canned, but I could be wrong).<br/><br/>Go Again: Yes, I am not sure if they do something different for supper, the above was great for lunch, but I do not think it would be great for supper.
Shawn Shepherd
Soup was great, tacos were great, lemonade was great, ice cream was great, price was great. Only hiccup I saw was they only had mild pico or spicy salsa, nothing in the moderate category. Went with a friend who's from Guadalajara and he approved, so you know it's authentic. Overall a great meal.
Steve T
I had put off going to this place a year ago and recently went with my daughter. Were promptly seated, provided with a pitcher of lemonade, and invited to help ourselves at the buffet. It wasn't a huge selection as other reviewers have indicated, but what was there was delicious, fresh (regularly replenished), and could be used to create various combinations of tasty plates. Was also surprised at the end how inexpensive it was for my daughter. :) looking forward to coming back later in the year to try it again.

So good! <br/>The only downside is that it can be a lot of the same style food but whenever I drive through Red Deer I stop there!<br/>The price is right in the ball park unlike most over priced Mexican food restaurants in Canada.<br/>
Eddie Giesbrecht
Went there once with my co-workers. The food was damn tasty and super messy, in a good way. However I found the options where a bit limited when we where there but overall it is a little jewel in Red Deer.
FoodAndMussels
Had to travel to red deer for work and looked this place up. I was starving so I was glad the I could get eating immediately. It's run by a local Mexican family. It's fairly authentic and it's all you can eat abs if your hungry it's of good value. If your in Red Deer and you want to stuff your face with above average Mexican food check it out.
Ms. Mason
Nicely done. This is family style Mexican taco place. You walk in, you get your lemonade, your soup and fix your own tacos from the buffet. This is true Mexican style, not the Americanized stuff we're used to. Think more beans and pico de Gallo, less cheese, less salt. We really liked it, and would recommend it to anyone in the mood for a fast fresh and authentic taco.
Jeremy Hervieux-Moore
Very authentic! Met the owner Will and he explained that "in Mexico, you would find a lot of buffet houses like this one. Not expensive food, but good and authentic".
Meganandrews23
92% Like it?!?!?!. We went here because of the amazing online reviews, as did the ONLY other couple in the restraunt for supper on Saturday night. To give you a visual the buffet is kept warm with crock pots. It's not cheap, a little shady and should not be bragged about. It's not terrible but if you're going because of the reviews....don't.

Trip down memory lane. I went to Red Deer a couple of days back with a good friend of mine to reminisce on old memories of our home town.<br/><br/>After a ride around town, my friends and I decided to stop by a somewhat of a new restaurant in Red Deer called the Old Mexico Taco Buffet. Us being very obsessive over tacos decided to dine there for lunch.<br/><br/>For 12.50 per person you really canā€™t complain.<br/>The restaurant serves homemade corn tortillas with a decent selection of ingredients to fill your tacos with.<br/><br/>I wouldnā€™t say my friend is particularly picky, but he is not one to like rice or any form of soup, but since it is a buffet he decided to try out everything he can and loved it. Everything had so much flavor, the only thing I couldā€™ve ask for is hot sauce, but aside from that it was amazing and well priced.<br/><br/>They even had upbeat Mexican music playing and served ice cream at the end of your meal.<br/><br/>So to anyone in Red Deer or passing by, I suggest trying to place out if you want to get a good meal for cheap.

Muy Delicisio!. My husband and I ate here for the first time last week and it was truly excellent! The owner greeted us like we were old friends and even helped me build my first ever bowl of tortilla soup. (So yummy!) We've been looking for a good Mexican Restaurant for nearly four years now and this was by far the best we've found. We will be eating here every time we come to Red Deer from now on.

Gone downhill a bit lately.. They served some really good Mexican food at the old location but the downtown location is not the same. Nice staff and fun to go to but so many of the dishes taste the same. I hope they turn it around.

There is no words to say how great this place is. The food is fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly and constantly refreshing the buffet. The lime drink served at arrival, I appreciated every last sip. It will be a happy trip back to calgary.

I wanted so badly to like this place!. I checked out reviews on Urban Spoon and decided to try Old Mexico Taco Buffet for my birthday with friends.<br/><br/>I looked up their menu and the first thing I saw was a big pitcher of Jamaica, one of my favorite beverages made from the hibiscus flower. Reviews indicated that the food levels in the buffet can get low later on so we went early and sat down at a table for dinner. They also said that the owner was a very personable Mexican gentleman and we looked forward to meeting him. <br/><br/>When we arrived, the waitress brought us out a pitcher of lemonade and I asked if they had Jamaica. She said no, but we were still looking forward to the buffet. We waited a little while for them to put out some tortillas and then went and chose our meals. Once we were seated, we realized that the food was not even slightly warm. We ate anyways but mentioned that the food was cold. The waitress said that the breaker had gone off and the food would warm up soon. We waited 15 minutes and tried again with little improvement.<br/><br/>I'm not sure if the restaurant is under new management or if the Mexican owner just wasn't in that day, but all in all I was quite disappointed and wouldn't go back.

A REAL TASTE OF OLD MEXICO !. Did the Old Mexico Taco Buffet last night about 6pm. If you have ever travelled through the old parts of Mexico away from the touristy parts. Then you will recognize a lot of the dishes are old world authentic Mexican. This is not a large buffet just good size with good food. Noticed no cheese was present any where as the quality of food stands on its own. Everything was stocked right up and very clean. Staff was very friendly and prices are really reasonable. Will go back
Ponygal002
Authentic and Delicious!!. My hubby and I went there for dinner tonight, after reading about it online. They did not disappoint! Great ambiance, excellent food, and a very friendly and attentive owner. Real Mexican cousine, and there was plenty of selection, and all the dishes were fresh. Very reasonably priced as well. We would definitely go back.

Great Food, Great People. My husband and I went to this restaurant a couple of weeks ago, and we had a wonderful experience. While it was a bit disappointing that they were low on food at the end of a busy day, what we had was outstanding and neither of us walked away hungry or felt that we were short-changed at all. For those who complain that they run out of food occasionally and have to close early, I would counter that I GREATLY APPRECIATE their integrity... they don't want to sell food that they have rushed to prepare that would be less than the excellent product they are proud to serve. We got to have a long chat with the owner that night. He's very personable, and obviously very passionate about his food. Looking forward to going back again and again.
Shaggin_79
Great food. A bit expensive for lunch.. What seemed to be Authentic Mexican food. Very good food, and friendly staff. My only gripe was it was a bit expensive just for lunch. However if it was supper and I wanted to fill my face. I'd definitely go there, as long as they didn't run out, as they were a little slow in replenishing the food in the buffet.
TM
Fantastic service and the best Mexican food I've had north of Arizona! A must try if you have not been there! The chicken tinga tacos were the highlight of the buffet. The owner was a true gentleman and a fantastic chef. Best food in Red Deer!

Terrific food. We were in from out of town and looking for a place all the reviews said that this place was great and they could not have been more right. The service was friendly and funny and the food was amazing. Can't wait to return

Friendly service!. Great service, but unfortunately they ran out of food when we got there, since they were very busy earlier, but we arrived to late :( that tells you the food is great! Willing to come back though! :)

Great fun. Enjoyed the fresh authentic food! Fun atmosphere as well. We will return for sure:)

A Funny Little Curiosity. What an interesting little place. From the minute you peek your head through the door, you know that this is going to be a different dining out experience. In fact, it doesn't feel like dining out at all; more like being fed in the kitchen of that Mexican uncle and aunt you never knew you had. A few sombreros and serapes adorn the minimally-dressed room full of tables with mismatching tablecloths. Along one end are three simple tables arranged with the kind of warming dishes you'd expect to find keeping your sausages warm in a hotel's free breakfast lounge.<br/><br/>Evident that my party of two didn't know what we were doing when we arrived at opening time, we were seated and offered some homemade lemonade (quite watered down and unfortunately, not very cold on a hot day when we could've used it); cans of Coke or ginger ale, and bottles of water were also available to purchase. As the morning's tortillas were warming, the owner greeted us and kindly demonstrated how to serve ourselves the perfect tortilla soup (it's well known that Albertans don't know how to make Mexican food, limited as we are in our authentic south-of-the-south-of-the-border restaurants). Thanks to his advice, we enjoyed the best tortilla soup I've found in Alberta, and what I would crown as the highlight of the meal.<br/><br/>With the tortillas ready, we experimented with different combinations of tacos (ten of them between the two of us). Corn, potatoes and onions, mushrooms, Mexican rice and beans are available as fillers; chicken and ground beef as meat. The cold toppings will spice up your tacos: homemade pico de gallo, onions and cilantro, red salsa and MUST-HAVE pickled jalapenos are on hand, with lettuce and sour cream to help balance the heat with cool. That's it; you've just read the whole (main course) menu, and that's all you'll need. (NOTE: You will not find cheese here, not matter how accustomed we Canadians are to finding it on our tacos; that's not an ingredient on traditional Mexican tacos, which focus on freshness over fullness.)<br/><br/>The tortillas were soft (perhaps a bit too soft after being heated in a crock pot), but did the job of transporting the other ingredients into my mouth. The corn and mushrooms added an essential something to the pretty-good chicken and beef. The best flavours, however, came from the pickled peppers and pico de gallo.<br/><br/>Throughout the experience, we conversed with the owner, who told us the story of how he came to Canada, and how the kitchen came to be. Once again I got the feeling of a cheerful Mexican uncle who had been waiting eagerly for my visit so he could give me a good meal.<br/><br/>After our tacos, we were reminded not to forget our ice cream; vanilla, chocolate, bubble gum and (the obvious choice) orange and cream were the day's offerings, and visitors get to experience a day in the life of an ice cream shop worker as they reach deep into the freezer to scoop their own desserts, which provide a much-welcomed cold finish to a hot meal.<br/><br/>All of this was ours for only $15 each; as with all buffets, the more you eat, the more you get your money's worth, so don't come if you eat like a bird or you're looking for an afternoon snack. Cheaper prices are available for children.<br/><br/>This establishment earns a definite recommendation; how much you enjoy its limited menu the first time will determine whether or not you consider it worthy of a repeat visit. Knowing I've tried everything it offers, I probably won't be back for a while, but am glad I discovered this little kitchen in downtown Red Deer.
Stefan Wieclawek
Absolutely amazing place. Had heard so much about it and finally went. The minute I walked in I knew it was going to be a unique experience. The nice man who I am assuming is the owner greeted us and showed us how to make the PERFECT taco soup. The food was fantastic, and definitely will be coming back!!

WOW ... AMAZING. The problem with living in Canada is finding authentic Mexican Cuisine.... well we finally found it!! This restaurant we happened on while visiting Red Deer is amazing. Everything is totally authentic and homemade. So much flavour, and a great value. The owner is very friendly, and has a great story of coming to Canada and working hard to see his dream come true; opening his own restaurant. We need to support such hard working individuals. This is a must if you are in Red Deer.... truly amazing!!!

Love the food!. The tortilla soup is a great way to start the meal, so flavorful. I love the pitchers of drinks they put on the table, a nice touch. The food is filling and tasty and great homemade pickles and hot sauces. Great value.

AWESOME!. What a great little Mexican restaurant! <br/>The people were very friendly and gave us helpful suggestions on how to build the perfect taco.<br/>We started we the tortilla soup, build a few tacos with the very fresh and delicious ingredients and finished it off with mango ice cream. Yum. <br/>Did I Mention that the fresh lemonade was included? <br/>Did I mentioned that there was entertainment?<br/>Did I mention the all the above was only $15.00?<br/>Well there was. All for $15.00.<br/>What a great evening out!<br/>We'll be back with friends.

Delicious!!. Ate at the old mexico taco buffet because of all the good reviews, and the fact that it seems like the owners actually go on here and read the reviews and comment on bad service or unsatisfied customers, seemed like they care about what there customers think. Was not disappointed, all of the food was delicious and there was a lot of variety with what you could do with the food. You could make tacos, or nachos, they had taco soup which was delicious, and ice cream. The only thing i wish was that the tortillas where a little bit bigger, it was hard to wrap them if u put more than a little bit in them. Besides that though it was awesome and if you want a good buffet i would say this is the place to go.
Cchartier
Incredible value and superb food!. I came for lunch and left in dire need of a siesta. I believe this to be the most authentic Mexican food I have had out of Mexico. The patrons are friendly and the pride in quality is certainly there. I hope they are around for a very long time and I am sure they will soon need a larger restaurant.
Britt
Worst value ever ! Bland food minimal selection .. 15 dollars for unseasoned beef and plain veggys ... No cheese and no service
Christie
Very good and very fresh...

This was a great choice for Mexican food, owners on site gave a personal and friendly touch, and the food was fabulous. Just keep in mind it's a Taco buffet, the options are tacos or tacos. One of my new favorite places!

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST. By far the best Mexican food I've had north of the border. everything is fresh. and well prepared. The owner is the tip of the hat, he's very funny and genuine....truly cares how your experience was and his motto is the best "you can have 15 tacos or you can have 50 it's up to you....but if your going for 50, well ......you can do the math" lol I strongly recommend this place . As well the tortilla soup and the guacamole AMAZING<br/><br/>Thanks for the amazing food and comfort

The corn tortillas and the guacamole were a hit, the lemonade we got to drink was awesome, and the chicken was delicious! We'll probably go again and again every few months, def one to add to our night outs. The host/owner is a fabulous guy, really likeable :)

GREAT. After living in Mexico for a month and eating Tacos everyday, I would say this is the closest thing to authentic tacos I ever could imagine in Canada. It was amazing! I would gladly go back and take all my friends! Great service as well!

This was exactly what we were looking for on our trip home to Calgary from Edmonton. The food was so delicious, fresh and authentic. The owner was wonderful, as was the service and the atmosphere. The restaurant was super busy, but that's a testament to how good it is! We'll be going back the next time we're in town. Eat here!

The tacos were amazing and we really enjoyed the lemonade, not to mention the great prices. We also felt the staff truly cared about our experience. See you again soon, we're telling all of our friends!

Old Mexico Taco Buffet - Delicioso!. Great new culinary offering for Red Deer! You've really got to try this place. Host/chef Will instantly welcomes you to his taco buffet -- yes, a taco buffet -- with a friendly smile, a quick run down of all of the fresh authentically Mexican buffet items and informs you that the limit is 50 tacos per person. "Fifteen?" I ask. "No, fifty," he says. "After that, you let me know and I have to charge you twice, okay?"<br/>It wasn't even close. I made it to five and was happily stuffed. The pico de gallo is incredible. For $15 per person, you'll be hard pressed to find a better, more delicious deal in town. We'll be back... and back... and back...

Nutritious and Delicious. The buffet had a good mix of spicy and savory. We brought in our family of 8 and there was something for everyone. The kids loved the nachos and my husband and I loved the tacos. The vegetables were fresh and the salsas were DELICIOUS! We will definitely be returning. Very affordable for such a wonderful meal. The best part was the way my body felt after the meal. I felt invigorated. Thank you for a meal that tasted like home cooking. From a mother who loves to cook it is hard to find a restaurant that satisfies my palate. We will be back :) GRACIAS!

Amazing. Not even sure how we knew about this place but DAM!! I sure glad we did. the food was great, the server was great, the price was great. Would not surprise me to here this place have expanded and moved to larger location in a year or so. Keep up the great work

YUM. So fantastic! the food was great, however, when i went, they only had red meat options, and i dont eat read meat so would be nice if they would have a chicken or fish option! However, i had just vegitarian tacos and OMG the guac was the best thing i have ever tasted. The staff was very open to suggetion, friendly and made sure we were taken care of! For any big eaters out there, my boyfriend, who can never seem to get full, had plenty to eat, and was so satisfied...for on $15/ persobn...i thought it was great value

@Alex B. We are very sorry for the inconvenience. The day we closed early was because we ran out of food because yes it is that good. Running out of food of course says a lot about how inexperienced we are in this business, however the way you were treated by the member of our staff is not acceptable and we had a meeting about it already, our apologies. We are a very friendly staff and want to provide the costumer our best service and food. And bad experiences like this sure help us improve, thanks for your feedback. (:

My God what great food!!. I have been to Juarez, and you would think you were in mexico. from the music, the friendly chats with the owners, and the incredible food, you are most definitely south of two borders!!! As a HUGE fan of the culture and the food, you are definitely missing out if you pass this place by. you will be most impressed by the cuisine, as well as the incredible service, all served with the most heart felt smiles!! Do not pass this pace by!!!!!!
