Whalers Restaurant - Red Bay - Photo album

The mains: comfortable bed, clean, lots of space, and quiet. The bonus: Some of the most kind people I have ever met. The village itself is a great stop over with the UNESCO site, but the owners of this place will really go out of their way to ensure you are comfortable and happy with your accomadat
Friendly staff. Tea is good brewed from a kettle. Dessert a bit pricey as that is what they push on everyone.
Charming restaurant, friendly staff. Highly recommend the fish n chips
The fish and chips were truly deserving of their "famous" title. The chips were so delicately fried and the fish was fresh... I could have believed that it was caught that morning! If you do not believe my words, take a look at my photo... it speaks for itself!

The best fish & chips to be found in the Atlantic and the steak is always cooked to perfection. Highly recommend stopping in for great food & friendly service.
Great little restaurant and gift shop in Red Bay. Perfect spot to visit after doing the loop on Saddle Island. The Whalers Soup was excellent. Very fishy, in a good way. The gift shop has every t-shirt you can think of - and other gift items, including locally made crafts.
Nice food and good service. Like their fish and chips. Highly recommended.
