Everything was just super great and tasty. The veg burger patty was soft and crispy and well seasoned. Poutine was veg gravy as well.
Part of an upscale burger chain, this location provided excellent service in addition to the very good food. Good choice for lunch. Burgers are good. The salads are equally good and quite large (a meal in itself). We took lunch at the Chez Victor in Levis later in the trip and it was equally good.
Such a cute little spot! Our first day in Quebec City and this meal made it amazing! The staff was so friendly and the food was amazing! The vibes were just amazing too! Overall a 10/10 experience
The food was absolutely amazing and I highly suggest you get the Classique which is absolutely amazing! The workers are very nice and are just amazing in general and I highly suggest you come here whenever you can.
Amazing food on a quite and friendly ambience. The burgers and poutine were fantastic and the staff answered all our questions about the food and the city. Best place for eating in St Jean street.
I know that they are known for their burgers but the salad and the poutine was also delicious!
Their onion rings were well battered and fried but their choice of using honey as a dipping sauce was questionable. We ended up dipping them in ketchup instead.
Then we got the gnocchi poutine which was an interesting take on a traditional poutine and it was very tasty. But I wish they had more sour cream.
The salad was also delicious and filling but next time we would try their burgers when we’re more hungry.
Service was excellent. Burgers were top notch. Try the homemade spicy ketchup for your fries.
The location make it difficult to find parking lot on rush hours. There are a lot of different burgers style so it can please everyone. The fries are really good and the homemade mayo too. For the ultimate experience, change your fries into poutine.

It was hard to find a last minute dinner reservation in Quebec City during the long weekend; we found this place via a recommendation from a local barista, and they were able to accommodate our party of 8 on short notice. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone, Mathias, was courteous and friendly, and even wound up being our server. And what an amazing array of vegetarian dishes and burger options!!! I had the l’Indien burger and my husband had the duck confit poutine; my kids had the Buffalo wing burger and minimalist burger. Everything was prepared freshly, and everyone in our group went on and on about how tasty the food was - no leftovers to take home! And no guilt, or bloated, gross, “I overate” feeling. I would highly recommended this local restaurant to any travelling vegans and carnivores alike - it’s a burger joint with so many wonderful options and healthy variations. The ambience is also super cool - cozy with brick walls and nifty tiles, very unique. I’m so happy we found this place. Thank you!
The Korean poutine was one of its kind and a must have dish at this restaurant.

Nice selection of vegetarian burgers. Very creative recipes. They also have vegetarian poutine that is pretty good. Menu is limited. The fries are double fried so if you don’t like it avoid. It is an acquired taste.
Amazing vibe, it was the first time tasting onion rings with honey as dipping sauce and let me tell you it was life changing ,the buffalo chicken poutine was amazing (a must taste if you like spicy chicken and potine mixed together) and the mini burger variety platter offered a great tasting of what they had to offer. Could not have asked for anything better

Chez Victor was such a pleasant experience from start to finish.
The decor inside and the music made for a very cool/cute atmosphere. The waitress was extremely busy, but found the time to check up on me often. The menus are available in both French and English; the hardest thing about them was simply choosing which among the many delicious options to order.
The food was amazing. I ordered the La Bête burger and the daily feature crème brûlée, which was a maple crème brûlée. The beef patty on my burger was juicy, and flavourful, and possibly the best I've had. The whole burger, with all the toppings, came together so well.
I highly recommend Chez Victor to anyone, but especially English-speaking tourists that may be nervous about their experience and are looking to eat some excellent food.
