Highly recommend. I don’t eat alone often, but the staff made me feel welcome and comfortable—merci! Everything was tasty. I tried a cocktail, two fried items, and a salad; Tod Man Moo was especially delicious. I also really appreciated being asked my preferred language instead assuming English since I’m anglophone. Cool vibe, good food, can’t go wrong.

I’ve been to a lot of pubs but none which had the best Music, drinks and food! They are located not too far from the main city And are quite a small and cozy place. The ambience inside is nothing like this though. They have great music blasting and the lighting is low yet, ample. Do true their Fried chicken, a must have! Their vegetable Pad Thai was out of the world as well! They have these funky glasses that they serve the cocktails which add a certain appeal! While the presentation is great, they taste amazing and have the right amount of alcohol in them as well! All in all, I would defiantly visit here when I stop by or visit Quebec City again!

Great variety of unique cocktails! The place is smaller than what I expected, but still room for many people, just in a narrower way. Great ambience, good and loud music, and good friendly bartenders!

Delicious food, great service, interesting neighborhood. Nice to know there’s a great place for Southeast Asian food in Quebec City. The only thing that I feel would be a bother for some patrons is that they don’t have an English menu but the servers were really helpful (and we used the Google Translate app lol)

Excellent service, amazing food, and such a great atmosphere. Very happy to have stumbled upon this place. The food came out quickly and tasted unbelievable. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Terrific dining experience! Tiki cocktails are crafted with care and attention to details. The 4 Thai and Chinese dishes we ate far surpassed those we had at highly-rated “authentic” restaurants in QC. 10/10– highly recommend!

I am vegan and enjoyed the Vegan Banh Mi sandwich and the Vegan Bao, as well as their deep fried oyster mushrooms. The flavours are complex and we really enjoyed every bite. Of course, the portions are moderate in comparison to old school Chinese or Viet restaurants, and I would not recommend this to someone who wants cheap and massive portions. If you enjoy elevated Asian food, give it a try. Oh and the staff were very nice and helpful.

J'ai beaucoup aimé ma visite Chez Tao. L'ambiance est décontractée, le personnel est sympathique et la bouffe était goûteuse à souhait! Le seul point faible: nous étions deux et nous n'avons pas été servis en même temps.

Je suis bouleversé par tant de saveurs, le Báhn mi est orgasmique. Le service est singulièrement irréprochable, rapide et avec une bonne humeur contagieuse. On voit souvent des resto asiatiques devenir rapidement décevant à cause du lieu ou de la manière trop amateur malgré une bouffe qui vaudrait le déplacement si ce n'était que le lieu est ennuyant. Chez Tao c'est tout le contraire. Un endroit fin et très accueillant, avec une musique et une ambiance simple mais vibrante et feutrée, le petit resto de quartier réussi étonnamment bien l'effet de dépaysement tout en douceur et avec professionalisme. J'ai pas opté pour les cocktails, la bière asiatiques offerte se marie trop parfaitement pour l'effet de dépaysement que je recherchais. Bravo à cet endroit magique et à très bientôt pour un autre Báhn mi (ou deux.. non 4!)....

Les barmans sont sexy. Les barmaids le sont encore plus. Les cocktails dans des chats sont incroyables. Le menu est parfait pour toutes occasions. J’habite derrière pis j’irais tous les jours si c’etait possible. ❤️👌🏻

Les mixologues sont malades, mais ce que je trouves vraiment le fun c’est leur côté consciencieux pour l’environnement avec leurs pailles et sous verres réutilisable!

Si c'était ouvert 24 heures par jour, j'y serais 24 heures par jour. La cuisine ferme tard (pour vrai), les plats sont à s'en licher les doigts (pho, banh mi, bao, mapo dofu, rouleaux : MIAM) et les cocktails à tomber par terre comme si les « mixologues » savaient lire dans les pensées. Bravo Chez Tao !

Coup de foudre. Personnel hyper sympathique. Cuisine de qualité et très savoureuse. Tous les plats sont disponibles en version veagan. En prime, les propriétaires ont une belle conscience écologique en offrant des accessoires réutilisables (ex: les pailles) et minimise leur production de déchets au maximum. Longue vie à vous !!!

Que ce soit le service ou les mets, j'ai toujours eu une excellente expérience, et ce peu importe l'heure de ma visite ! Les mets vegan sont excellent et depuis que je connais ce restaurant, je le recommande à tout le monde!
