Pretty authentic for an Izakaya house smack dab in Québec City. Place is rather small so be prepared to wait. The best place is at the kitchen bar where you can see the chefs preparing your orders. It can get pretty warm inside because it’s an open kitchen, which can be quite welcoming in the winter
Every time I visit QC, this is the go to for amazing food and drink. The Shitake Tempura is an absolute legend, and if you enjoy cocktails the Tuque Orange is something to behold. Get here and enjoy yourself. You'll thank me later
One of the really nice places to have dinner where you could actually get in without a reservation. I came here because it was listed in almost every website I read with the search terms "best restaurants in Quebec City". Don't expect fine dining kind of table service but the typical izakaya setting
Amazing food and great service. Highly recommend quail eggs in miso, also the Marinated Wagyu beef skewers. We had several items and shared as a group.
