Horne Lake Family Campground - Qualicum Beach - Photo album

Super peaceful and beautiful place to visit. The lake is pristine. The campground seems a very nice one. It is a dry campground which means other than only one faucet in front of the office/store there is no access to water whatsoever. There are only pit toilets available. Kayak and canoe rentals ar
What an absolutely gorgeous and well kept campground. I only stayed one night but was accommodated as a walk in for a tent spot on a long weekend. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The other guests also seemed to appreciate the surroundings and were quiet and respectful. This is a spot for tru
absolutely gorgeous lake for kayaking! i got a waterfront site. staff are lovely, happy and take great care of sites. i was surprised, they rake them and even tidy the fire pits, taking old ash and charred coals away. bathrooms are pit toilets which are standard for camping but very well-cleaned. I
A beautiful place!! The lake was so clean and refreshing, nothing but smiles everywhere, and our dogs caught no flack at all running around!! Please keep in mind, we are attentive dog owners with well behaved dogs. It's nice when we can let them be free too!! Thank you
Great spot! Road turns to dirt for about 12 km but the lake and area is fantastic!!! Lots to do on the lake with the canoe and kayak rentals, hiking and of course the caves! The campground itself is child friendly but a warning that your kid has to be 5 to go into the caves. All of the sites seem to
Sites are very close together, not much space between eachother, bit of a walk to get to the lake, no day parking beside the lake, the caves were awesome! roads are very easy to get in, can be quite packed.
Absolutely love this spot! The grounds are kept meticulous as are the outhouses, garbage & recycle disposal & rental equipment. The staff are all friendly & do a terrific job! Kudos to their boss for teaching them the right way.
Park was a pleasant surprise. Nice clean camp sites, beautiful lake great beach for children and swimming. The road in certainly leaves a lot to be desired, rough gravel road
Beautiful campsite. It's located right next to the caves and some great climbing. The place is busy during the day with lots of boaters and kids. Most of the actual sites are directly on the lake. The fire pits are functional enough for some basic campfire cooking. Would definitely stay here again.
Very impressive how well maintained B.C. parks are, without charging admission for day use! Lovely park, exceptional views made for an amazing paddle experience. Calm waters and a Sunken Forest to check out at the south end of the lake.
