Walked in this afternoon after the enthusiastic recommendation from the owner of “the BOOKSTORE” shop across the street from the café.
The coffee and latte were superb, as was the scrumptious orange and olive oil cake we devoured. Excellent service by the two lovely lady proprietors, especially Bret
Stopped by when they were first open and had a delicious muffin and coffee. I was able to meet the new owners who were all lovely and they have worked hard to clean and update the café and it shows. I understand that they recently got their liquor license and am I so excited to go back to the patio

Simply - DELICIOUS! The new owners have spiffed up the location and the food. Today African peanut soup made with coconut milk. The chicken salad on croissant - tasty tasty. Gluten free option for bread. Will definitely be back!
A lovely place for breakfast. The couple who runs it were so nice and so accommodating. We had a number of dietary requests (most especially me being vegan) and they were happy and enthusiastic to provide. The new courtyard cafe, looks great! It has a modern, bright and uplifting atmosphere. Service was fast and accurate, the coffee was made well and the pastry portions are large and taste delicious! This is definitely a spot worth turning into your new regular local stop in.
Love this place!! So welcoming, great new owners and awesome coffee. Have been back a few times now and definitely making it my go to coffee place when visiting Qualicum. Food was great too….super tasty baked goods and just had the breakfast Toastie and it was delicious! Looking forward to enjoying
