Review Blackwater Restaurant - Prince George

Room was very nice and clean. Booked for 1 night stay for myself, husband and 2 young children. Went to front desk to ask for children's activity books, as they were advertised on company website. Was advised that they no longer have these. That is fine. Later took children to the pool and was told that we should attend to front desk for towels for pool. When we went to front desk, was told to wait. Stood there for 15 minutes waiting for towels, until we eventually left because nobody returned. The same evening there was an event that took place at the hotel which resulted in significant noise from our room until roughly 11pm. Was difficult to get 2 young children to sleep due to significant noise from our room. Would not recommend for family stay

Great pricing and good location. Staff were friendly an helpful, parking is limited due to casino but a minor detail. Rooms were clean and the hotel has all t amenities. The best experience I have had with this normally sub par brand. Other prestige hotels could learn from this one ( Radium take note).

Hotel is really nice and beautiful, me and my husband stayed for two nights, the staff at the front is really helpful, the girl named Naveneeit, she provided us the nice overview of the hotel, she was super helpful. The food was average, the restaurant should work on the taste of the food. The pool was fun. And we loved the renovation. Overall, a nice place to spend a quality time with your family.

Disappointed...Stayed overnight. Dripping faucet in the bathroom. Shut the bathroom door but kept us awake most of the night. Lights in the bathroom kept flickering. Went down for breakfast in the morning and my tea cup had lipstick on it. Not very covid friendly. Plus side pool was clean. Not impressed since this is attached to a casino and is called a prestige hotel. Wouldnt recommend.

The pet "policy" of charging 31.50 per pet, per night is nothing but stealing. They state it is for 'enhanced' cleaning due to other guests allergies. Yet we are put in a 'pet room'. I am not sure what 'enhanced' cleaning means as I have never gotten an answer to this. All rooms should be stringently cleaned regardless of who is staying there. Also why a charge for each pet for each night? This makes zero sense other than to take your money at a time of skyrocketing prices. Absolute rip off and I will no longer be staying nor recommending your hotel.

Rude, lazy and condescending staff. They made me and my family and other guests feel bad. Weren’t helpful. When we asked them questions they looked at us judgementally and made us feel stupid. They don’t have continental breakfast anymore. Rooms were dirty. I heard tons of complaints from other guests about the same things. Would not recommend.

Had the opportunity to stay a night at the Prestige in Prince George. It has nice facilities and is central in Prince George. However, the night we stayed the fire alarm went off. We followed the emergency exit signs all the way down but to our surprise many of the emergency exit doors were locked from the outside forcing us to backtrack many times. Had there been a serious emergency we could have been in a life altering situation. After bringing it up to management at the end of our stay the response was “we will bring it up to our manager”. No apologies and no support. If you stay be safe and plan accordingly.

So unimpressed. Intended to book a romantic jacuzzi suite for my husband and I. Room was extremely outdated, the was no jacuzzi there was an old jetted tub in the bathroom. The fireplace was old and beat up. There were children running up and down the hallways the people upstairs sounded like they were dragging a chair across the floor. I explained front desk that this wasn't exactly what I was intending and asked if I could upgrade the room and I was declined. Room cost me over $300 old outdated badly needs a renovation. Will not be staying again
