Review Fortune Palace Restaurant - Prince George

!!!!!! We paid for an item and they didnt deliver it and when we called to get our paid for item they refused!!!!! Hair in our food and it arrived cold... brutal for $130 😭 Atrocious customer service!!!! We ordered sweet and sour pork and instead they brought us sweet and sour sauce without the pork balls when we called and said we wanted the pork we ordered they refused to fix their mishap even though we had paid for it. We ordered from here every Thursday and Saturday night it was our favorite restaurant :( it's a shame that we will have to give our business to another establishment.

Went here on August 28th. Ordered a small wonton and their #8 meal which included chicken chow mein, sweet & sour pork, vegetable chop suey and deep fried prawns. The soup was hot and very good and the meal was served shortly after. Loved that the vegetables were crisp but the prawns had more breading then I like but were delicious.

Great Chinese food in Prince George place also clean and staff are friendly they make sure we get more drinks

So we have been ordering from Fortune Palace for over 15 years, my family and my in laws combined, and overall their food has been decent. Sometimes we would get our order with moldy vegetables in it, but we would bring this to their attention and they would comp us a meal. Tonight however, parts of each of our meals (5 in total) were not edible. My honey garlic pork was so dry, it was almost like it was leftover from the day before. Same with the almond chicken. It was so dry, I spit it out the moment it hit my tongue. Sweet and sour pork and the noodles were also not up to par. We called to bring this to the manager/owners attention (Jean) but it was almost pointless. I told her that every meal, parts of it were not edible, so the best she said she could do was $30 off of our order. Our order was over $100. The owner argued with me, saying that I was the only one who has complained tonight and sometimes certain customers like the food a little crispy, even after I kept telling her it was NOT EDIBLE! Not too crispy! They were unwilling to send driver to our house to bring us a new order because we picked up the order, so she said she could redo the entire order for us, but I would have to bring in the bad order. Why do I have to bring in the order? As an owner, she should have made every attempt to please the customer, not tell me that I was the only one who has complained that night. What kind of customer service is this?? We are extremely dissapointed with this new management and they have lost our business after 15 plus years of loyalty...

Much like any Chinese restaurant in Prince George you're not going to get much authentic cuisine but rather the North American, whitewashed style. It's good for that style, just not my tastes. Tried the dim sum. Standard for not made in kitchen but ordered in bulk. It's the only dim sum available in Prince George that I've found.

Dim Sum. Mediocre at best. Sticky rice was overcooked with no goodies in it. Just some ground beef. But no egg, pork or anything else. Other items so so but mostly very bland. Service good. Other diners Chinese food looked good, just stay away from the dim sum menu.

I just picked up my family order and got quite the shock as it was way more than I expected. I was told that they don't go by this website.... I said then why do you have it up when your prices are considerably higher or at least update it. They did not know. Now i love their food and service but this is false advertising and this website should be taken down.

Honestly one of the better Chinese restaurants in town. Good and friendly service! Food is tasty and I have yet to have a bad experience in my orders for the last few years!
