Review Moxies - Prince George

We came in for my partner’s birthday tonight, following up after a less-than-perfect experience previously. We had the opportunity to speak with Peter (GM) about the previous experience, and he was fantastic, addressing the minor issues we’d had and apologizing for the error. We then were served by Victoria, who provided excellent service and delivered delicious meals. We finished off our meal with a birthday dessert of white chocolate brownie, which is always yummy. 5/5 stars, would definitely recommend, and we will absolutely be returning in the future.

Had a birthday lunch for my brother on Monday and it was perfect! Our server Ariel was warm, welcoming and attentive. The food was great and Ariel took extra care to help me find something on the menu to eat that was safe for my food allergies. 10/10 excellent service.

Last night was a fantastic small date after a busy day. My partner and I shared a couple drinks and were served by Drew S, who was beyond wonderful, attentive and knew every part of our orders down to the T, and was able to list off all ingredients with it. Such service is hard to find. We will definitely return for her in the future. Wonderful place.

I had absolutely excellent service when I went to Moxie's. The manager Paige was friendly, professional, and overall made my experience one to remember. The vegan and vegetarian options available are great and makes this place one of my first options when choosing where to eat in town. The atmosphere was great when I went and was overall one of my best experiences when dining out!

Pleasant dinner. Comfortable environment and warm service. We ordered grilled ribs and seafood spaghetti.

Wow! The food and drinks here was amazing last night! My husband and I had some delicious Caesars and the calamari was to die for. Our server, Cristina, was amazing as well! She was charming and funny and we had such a great time with her, we will definitely be back again for great service and great food !!

Had Jess serve us a few weeks ago. She was very pleasant and attentative to our table. The food was really good, tried something different and was happy. Great place to visit while in PG, highly recommended. Thanks for your great service Jess.

Service was amazing as They were training the new girl and she did fantastic. The food is really good as the steak was cooked exactly the way I asked for it. The service was fast the atmosphere clean and the staff friendly

The service was mediocre at best, we ordered Med Bread which should be hot but not toasted to the point of being brittle and burnt, my wife ordered chicken, when it arrived it was greasy, the potato was wretched. They did offer to take the med bread off the bill and give us one free mini desert. This is the second bad experience with Moxies in three months, I do not think we will be eating there again anytime soon. Noticed while we were there the table behind us was not happy either.

It's just a great place. Service is great. Manager is kind. Food is fantastic. It's a place I like to go for a treat. Love it.

There is something really appealing about that Patio - I've spent a few evenings enjoying a Heineken by the fire being entertained by the wonderful servers like Brandon, Dawson, Kailha, Sarah and so many more! I appreciate the good service, good food and atmosphere says a lot about the management!

A huge thank you to Moxies, Prince George for the excellent food and service during our recent evacuation from McLeese Lake. The staff treated us with kindness asking about our experience as evacuees. The interest was personal and sincere. Kudos to the management for the 40% discount for evacuees. The wonderful meals made us feel normal in a time which was anything but normal.

Yes it's a chain in Canada, but a great chain. Great food, great service and very enjoyable. Check it out!

Had our Christmas party there on Saturday.. Second time we have hosted it here and we weren't disappointed! Was a large group of 40 and the food came out hot and the drinks were flowing :) hands down the best service we've had! Well done! We will be back next year!

The food is ok. Nothing special and I certainly don’t go out of my way to go there. The balinis are what use to bring me in and the wings. But due to scheduling conflicts I rarely make it in there anymore for even that.

By far just had the worst service ever at this restaurant! We were a table of 6 sat down and got first round of drinks and ordered food. We waited an hour and a half for our food , which wasn’t all that bad considering the amount of people. But we sat there that whole hour and a half without our waitress coming to the table to get us more drinks. When our food did arrive, it was amazing ! But spicy as we liked it, the downfall was that we had no drinks not even water to wash it down ! I had to go and ask someone twice to finally get some water to our table ! The waitress name was Selena she was a blonde . We never saw her at all after the first round and food ordered. Another lovely waitress had finally heard what happens and served us water . Although we were pretty much done our meals at this point. Only good thing was the food awesome shout out to the chef !

Me and my husband were looking for somewhere to eat that has really good ribs, we have herd nothing but good things about the ribs at Moxie's. We had such great service , Brandon our server took care of all our needs and wants . The Ribs were to die for , the meat falling off the bone. We definitely will be back.

Went to moxies on Monday for dinner, and sat in the dining room. Tried their house beer which was an amber ale and it was only $4.00. Heard it was wing night, and ordered biriyani spiced wings as suggested by the server. Well, they were delicious. Was a great night, and will go back very soon.

After a very disappointing attempt at lunch at the "new place in town" (where we cancelled our order and left), friends and I went to Moxie's. As with the new brew house grill, the music in Moxie's was too loud, but that is my only complaint. Service was exemplary, server (again, as with brew house, female, dressed to "impress," but at least at Moxie's, the server was dressed femininely, but respectfully), was polite and attentive, without being a nag. Unlike the brew house, items ordered were actually available,  food was reasonably priced, beverages were served immediately after being ordered, and the food, arriving within 10 minutes of order, was delicious! Would definitely go back to Moxie's!

Service was OK, my wife's ribs were cooked well, her drink tasty, my nachos had areas of horrible saltiness, the salsa was so-so, and my $3.25 glass of soda water was cold and grossly over priced. As far as atmosphere - too noisy with the club music, dirty table, and the female staff could dress less like they were hoping to hook up.

The last review was in October...hmmm<br/>Had dinner here last night, service was good. It was 1/2 price wine night to our surprise, which makes me think they only wanted to sell wine. I had the steak for $22 and the portion size was pathetic! Maybe 1/2 the size of a deck of cards and about as thick (my generous guess would be maybe 4 oz!!) I ordered seasonal veggies and no potato...veggies cold and burnt and truthfully too salty. I was horribly disappointed and to the servers credit asked her manager how to proceed. Keeping in mind I didn't ask for anything, just answered her question politely. The managers response...?<br/>"...because it was ordered rare" Seriously?? My meal was laughable for the price and the only redeeming quality was it was cooked to order. I will not choose Moxies again, very disappointed

Typical over priced prince george garbage.. Exactly what I expected from Moxie's... just terrible. I have never actually enjoyed this place and now I remember why! Way to over priced the quality of food! They need to hire better quality "chef's" The best thing in the restaurant was the hostess in the short skirt. That place needs a revamp... or perhaps a manager overhaul? It still wont change my mind about that place though.

Sunday Brunch. My wife and I went for Sunday brunch today and could not be more disappointed. Service was alright but the good experience stops there. We ordered the Benedict and the sausage hash. We waited about 10 minutes, I don't know why because obviously all they had to do was plate our food. Nothing was fresh, all the food was barely warm, dry from sitting pre made in a dish and both our poached eggs were hard. The worst part was the fruit which sat in a fridge for I'm guessing days. I don't know how long it takes for the flesh of pineapple to turn literally hard and strawberries to turn withered and brown on the edge. To top it off we didn't even touch the fruit and when the waitress brought us the bill we paid full price for our meals. It was the most disappointing $30 breakfast we have had and that's with water to drink. Why is it so difficult to get a quality eat out breakfast in this town? We won't go back unless we hear something good from someone we know. For us their reputation is completely ruined.

Hello,<br/>I recently gave my daughter and her husband a gift certificate for $75.00 for Moxie's and they attended your restaurant last evening.<br/>I called my daughter this afternoon and asked her how dinner was.<br/>She ordered a chicken,mango,chipotle main course and when it came the chicken was burnt, as in charred. She pushed it away to the edge of the table and a server came by noticing the dinner and asked if something was wrong. But in mid sentence she stopped noticed the black chicken. Also my daughter expected the chicken to be cooked with mango and the only mango was about three slivers on top of the meal. Of course the server took the meal away and returned sometime later with another meal which my daughter could not eat as it was so very salty. In between the meals the Manager came by and apologized and said he'd be back to check on the second plate but he never returned. She was very disappointed in the dinner. They have 4 children and my son-in-law had arranged the evening farming out the 4 kids so he could take his wife out for the evening. I feel they should not have had to pay for that meal!!!<br/>On a positive note, the appys were good but I don't think I would give another gift certificate for your restaurant.

We were finishing up a bunch of errands and decided we needed NOT to make dinner. We have not eaten at your restaurant in ages. We decided to give it a try. The meal was sensational. I had the Parmesan chicken sandwich and my partner had the Thai chicken salad - they were both amazing. Kudos to the menu planning and selection. We already have decided next week we will meet our friends there for dinner. Thanks for the great evening. <br/><br/><br/>Louise

Good atmosphere and better priced drinks than Earls. We have always had good wait staff, as opposed to the service at shooters. The red Thai curry is delicious! There could be more attractive male servers but the girls are friendly.

April 19 2013. Our family recently visited Moxies and what a nice surprise. Interior has been redecorated, and is now very much wheelchair accessible. <br/>. Staff was friendly, knowledgable, and very prompt. Our dinner was excellent! Great improvement in the last couple of months. New management, and she was very visible and friendly. We recommend you give it another chance!

Average to low. Been there many times, it is a good location for us, and the food is OK, <br/>I have been to much better, this is a little high priced for the atmosphere and general conditions of the establishment.<br/>The staff are pleasant, yet perhaps not well trained professionally.<br/>need some work to get it up a notch or 3.

Good service, but that is all. The server, the door greeter, both excellent,, you ladies get a 10 out of 10. But there the good experience ended. The place was not very clean, from the dirty floor, to my filthy seat. Food was not horrible, but ranked below average to in my opinion, the exception was dessert, that was good. This place if they cleaned it and had better food could be the Gold standard in PG, sadly it falls short. I will rate them a 6 out of 10.

Disorganized. I've been here a few times and never had a great experience. I have had some terrible experiences, however. Once, when it was busy, it took nearly 2 hours to receive our orders. Have also had problems with lack of table service, where the waiter was absent and drinks were left empty. <br/><br/>All in all, seems poorly managed and run by young, inexperienced people who make bad mistakes that lead to poor customer experience.

So-so. Nothing special about the appies or entres. The deserts are good though

Premade frozen crap. Its not as bad as the title but its not worth eating either. The indian chicken is good but not great. I would just avoid it. There are enough options in this town.

Best Franchise in Town. The good: Delicious food and okay decor. Recommend the Teriyaki Rice Bowl or the Curry (the one with apple in it). Too bad they no longer have the classic Wonton Soup. Love the Bellinis too.<br/><br/>The bad: service can be shoddy, depending on whether you get a girl who is waste high in workplace politics/gossip.

Very good food awsome drinks deffinatly a place to eat!!!
