Went for my birthday dinner with my parents, who had the salmon and classic burger they seemed to love it. We started with the 5 spice wings, which were delicious and nicely portioned. I had the Tokyo Street Noodles with the garlic naan on the side, the portion was huge and I couldn't get through all of it, but it was super good, only way they could have been better is if they were just had a little bit more spice to them. Staff were attentive and the cocktail menu was super nice. Nice selection of local beers too.
Will definitely be back again.
This review is about 2 years late, but when I lived in Prince George this was my go-to restaurant. I stayed at the hotel connected to the restaurant when I was checking out the town, ate at the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast there. It was so delicious that when I moved there a month later, I made all of my friends join me for breakfast and they all fell in love as well. Now I’ve moved out of Prince George since then but I think about this place often. The pad Thai was absolutely amazing, I miss it so much and I haven’t been able to find a Pad Thai that has measured up since. The breakfast was outstanding, specifically the breakfast potatoes were delicious, perfectly poached eggs. My dad and I still try to recreate the seasoning that was used on the potatoes but we still haven’t been able to nail it, lol. The vibe of the restaurant is great as well! Cant recommend enough, planning a trip back to Prince George in the summer and this will absolutely be my first stop!
We came here for a Mother’s Day dinner (a party of 9), and not only was the food delicious, but our server, Emily, was fantastic and friendly with a great sense of humour. I tried the banana xango for dessert for the first time and it was DELICIOUS. It is also unique as far as desserts in local restaurants, which is refreshing.
I would definitely return again.
Had the Chefs tasting menu for five (special order and very much worth it). All four courses were incredible and paired perfectly with the wine that was selected. Majority of the food was locally sourced and showcased the diverse expertise of the chef. Service was impeccable; attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Looking very forward to the new regular menu being launched in the next few weeks.
I love this restaurant. Every time I go there it is always a positive experience. Paige goes above and beyond. She is always professional and always has a smile. She has never been short or grumpy ( even when it has been really busy )
She is definitely a great asset.
And the food is always delicious…. Complements to the chef/chefs.
We had the calamari, prawn pad thai and lemon grass chicken. My only suggestion would be to thicken the sauce a little more so it isn’t as runny, but that’s just personal preference.
Props to the cooks for using chicken thighs instead of breast. The portions were big and definitely worth the price, which is still pretty reasonable.
My wife loved the pad thai as well. Nothing bad to say about what we ordered.
The noodle box has a lot to learn from these guys when it comes to quality, portion sizes and prices.
