The pasta was amazing, my pizza was very by chef choices and it wasn't good as the sauce was like raw. The salad was great!
The atmosphere and ambiance were great.
I like it as I found owners are too young and just started! Good luck to them! 👍🏻
For sure they will improve more and more with customers feedback and make it unique in the city.
This is one of the legendary food establishments of downtown Prince George.
Don't let this place fool you though - while their pizzas are absolutely top tier, the rest of their menu is somehow also exceptional making them far from a one trick pony. As locals, whenever we have visitors in town, this is a must stop dinner spot.
Visiting from Vancouver and loving this place! Tried the soppresatta fig and wagyu birria taco pizzas - they got chewy yeasty crusts with nicely balanced sauces and toppings. Did find the birria taco tad bit salty for my taste.
The Italian donuts were great with a cinnamon sugar coating and berry compote - love the sweet n sour combo.
Ah - how I wish Betulla were in Vancouver!
Lovely atmosphere, fresh (a surprisingly quite a few local) ingredients. The fried chicken appetizer is to die for! Pizza flavours are inventive. The portions here are huge so come hungry. They don't skimp out on portion size during happy hour either which is refreshing. Lots of great daily specials, also some really good carry out specials. Only giving 4 stars as we've been a few times in the past couple of months and each time the wait staff were very slowly getting to us.
This place is fantastic. Why? The food is delicious!!! Service is fantastic. We had the Kimchi cauliflower, Arctic char and the pork rib pesto pasta. They were OMG delicious. I highly recommend the char. Cocktails were so creative and yummy. We wish we were staying in Prince George longer to eat here again. The pizza looks so good too. We had an appy 2 mains, a beer and 3 cocktails for $127.
I have eaten many a pie in my day. In many forms. Created with many methods. I have eaten from Halifax to Vancouver, and to Fort Smith. I have never had a better pizza than I did last night at Betulla Pizza. 14/10. Get the Smoked Salmon. It was a bit heavy on the salmon, but the chanterelle mushrooms balanced it all out. The rest of the flavor must have come from the hand of a goddess or really great pizza maker. The atmosphere is unlike any place I've been to. Trendy AF but it didn't feel pretentious. I gorged myself on the entire pie but had to shove in an affogato dish for dessert. You won't regret that. Visit this place if you visit PG. And if you live in this city, well, I don't have to tell you.
Didn't have the pizza because I saw they had Wagyu steaks on the menu (and burger, and tacos). Ended up getting a 6oz Tenderloin and it was fantastic. This is a Canadian Wagyu from Vanderhoof, I believe, but it compared well to other Wagyu I've had from Snake River Farms in the US. Don't expect Australian or Japanese Wagyu, but for the price tag it well worth it and tasty.
I would definitely come again and enjoy the steak. Others at my table ordered pizzas and they looked very good and were enjoyed by those who ordered.
