Review Starlight Restaurant - Prince Albert

What a hidden gem! I had the “Almost a Reuben” and soup of the day which was a homemade Cream of Corn. I’m struggling to think if I’ve ever had a better sandwich. Thick cut homemade bread baked in house, and slow cooked corned beef made in house. It was absolutely incredible. Do not think twice about eating here. I should have snapped a picture before I ate the first half of the sandwich, but you get the idea…

I was there for opening (7am)- needed breakfast before work. The lady running the front end of this restaurant is phenomenal. She is so kind, so attentive, and very personable. All while still getting her job done!!! Thank you for a wonderful meal, and great hospitality.

The restaurant has been renamed to 40th Street Grill. Great food! Homemade breads and real corned beef. The stuffed egg sandwiches were a hearty breakfast. The only thing better than the fresh cinnamon bun was the kindness and service of the owner and the staff. Do not miss this hidden gem for its off the beaten path location!

Prices are great, Quality is great. I had placed an order for pickup of A chicken Caesar Salad, along with 2 other meals. Staff read back the order and it was correct, but after it was picked up and brought back at lunch time, I opened my box to find out I got a grilled chicken burger with fries. I was disappointed that I did not get what was ordered (price was the same either way) as it would have taken to long to go back and exchange it, I ate it. The food was excellent, but the loss of 1 star was just due to the mix up of food. Again, Prices are great, Quality is great, just was not what I had Ordered

Absolutely amazing! The best service and the best food in all of Prince Albert. I absolutely recommend this to anyone who cares about great food at great prices while supporting great people. Not a single thing to criticize. I will be back the next time we are in town.

My wife and I shared a Beef Dip and Fish & Chips plus gravy with coffees for lunch. The Beef Dip on a bun was piled high with thick sliced beef, jus was tasty, very filling. Fish portion was large but batter was just OK and was slightly overdone. Both were a great value for money and we were way too full. Had to get some of their fresh baked cookies to take home for later. Recommended for a good value filling meal when you're really hungry.

Had a lunch here, the meal was excellent, the prices very good. I had roast beef sandwich. Brown bread piled high with roast beef served with home made fries. Couldn’t have been any better! My Wife had Caesar club served with home made fries. Loved it! Can’t wait to come back and try some other items on the menu! They all look very good. Denise was our wonderful waitress, very attentive. When she found out we lived four hours away she gave us some cookies for the trip home! Would recommend this place to everyone!
