I would definitely go out of my way to visit this home style diner. Kind of reminds me of the setting of, Fried Green Tomatoes.“Towanda”

Very disappointed in this diner and the waitress. We were starving and this place was highly recommended. Family of four, our waitress with curly black hair, seated us at the biggest table as it was the only one left. We asked for two ceasers and when I asked my daughrers what they wanted to drink and our waitress decided to walk away. We sat and watched her for a bit. She went to a couple of tables before making our drinks (which she never ended up doing) she was walking around, eating food, chit chatting with everyone STILL not making our drinks. We were absolutely starving and she had no desire to serve us. Absolutely horrible service, strongly do NOT recommend this place. The waitress should be ashamed of herself. We won't be attempting this place again. Thanks for your service ... or lack their of.

Great atmosphere and BEST VEGAN HASH I've ever had! This dish has everything you'd want in a savoury breakfast. HIGHLY recommend to all humans.

One of the best breakfasts in a long time. Very tasty, and nice and hot. The jam for the toast was I'm told blueberry peach, so good!!

Fantastic breakfast spot featuring all day breakfast and also a nice lunch menu. Spacious and homey, with a warm atmosphere and friendly staff. The Eggs Benny was delicious. Omelette was generous in size and in toppings. Would recommend. A real hometown diner.

This place featured in the must visit site on a travel guide so I thought I would check it out. The place has a lot of character; Tastefully decorated (see pics)The service was friendly and prompt. I ordered a triple dekker club sandwich on Rye. The meat was juicy and fresh and so were the veggies. A generous addition of avocado added to the taste and flavor. The fries were somewhat bland. The potato bacon soup was delicious although a bit on the salty side. Overall it was a nice dining experience. I would certain go there again

Popped in on a chilly day in December while waiting for the ferry back to Comox. Had an amazing breakfast/brunch at Magpie's. At first glance of the menu I thought the prices were a little high but the quality of the food, and the portions, were excellent. The atmosphere was cozy and charming. Will definitely go back and bring some friends next time I'm in PR!

I wish I never ate here so that I could experience it for the first time again. Quite possibly the best breakfast I’ve had. Ever
