Never bothered going Vera's for over 20 years which I regreted after first time had a burger.
They cook their patties from fresh meat and use a thermometer I wittnessed. It was so juicy and tasty. The buns are nicely moistend too. Its a bit pricy but for the quality to differ from other big ones.
We'll definitely be a regular to Vera's Burger!!
Incredible homemade quality burgers, fries, and shakes! You certainly get bang for your buck here! I can barely finish a burger because they are so hearty and filling! Super delicious! The fries are also top notch! I tried the banana shake and it was unlike anything I'd had before at a burger joint. Creamy and thick and spectacular! I highly recommend this place, even to the most discerning burger enthusiast. You will not be disappointed. Also, they offer an incredible veggie burger for those not partial to meat. Enjoy:)
Great original burgers and amazing fries as well. Restaurant is licensed as well if your looking for a cold beer to go with your meal. One of the best local burger spots.

I have been here three times now and really love the burgers! However was extremely disappointed when they advertise a pint with the burger I was expecting a real pint but was handed what resembled a sleeve :( .
My friend and I came to dine-in the other day at around 12ish. We both got basic burgers ( mine was chicken and I think my friends was lamb) the food is simply delicious! Definitely a place who's food I would recommend. The place was super busy, and there were only 2 people working during the rush, so I can't really complain about the wait since they were severely understaffed that afternoon!! Regardless, the workers were kind and welcoming and I could tell they were both busting there butts to try and make everyone happy!

Great Food but NOT Great Service. I couple months ago I was in the area and had to wait a few minutes so I stopped at Vera’s to get out of the rain and a quick bite to eat. I had the basic burger and was blown away by the flavour.
Last weekend I was in the area with my boyfriend and told him we had to eat there. He ordered the Baja burger and I ordered the Canuck’s Game Day combo special and asked for yam fries. When I order came, the yam fries were on the dark side and when I tasted them, they were cold and tasted burnt. I am not someone who likes to send food back but we were reading the sign on the wall that said they were always happy to make it right. When I brought the fires to the counter, the staff seemed less than happy to make it right but reluctantly made another batch of yam fires.
I will say our burgers were amazing and the new yam fries were delicious. I wanted to tell the staff thank you for fixing the issue but they would not make eye contact with me after I “complained” so we just left. We will be back as I am hoping the lukewarm service was only an anomaly and not typical.
G-Money burger is great! Big and messy, had to use a fork for the last part. Staff was really good considering they were closing soon on New Year's Eve. Dinner for 4 was pricey, but no one left hungry.

Very good Burgers. The veggie burger is pretty solid and the service is exceptionally friendly! My mate enjoyed the chicken burger and the toppings. Place is kept very, very clean. Their sides are WAY overpriced I find and the onion rings are terrible. Just stick to the basics. Also be nice if they included their veggie in the daily special sometime. More folks might just try it!
I'd like to issue an apology to Camy who had a bad experience here the other day. Camy, if you read this we'd love for you to come and give us another shot. Surely this time we will exceed your expectations. You are right that there is no excuse for bad service, but nevertheless, we have improved vastly since your visit. Once again, I apologize for the service last time and sincerely hope you will give us another chance!
Vera’s is a place I tried long ago, when they first opened up in Vancouver. It seemed like such a long time ago, that I thought I should try it again. I had the Baja Burger, which starts on a toasted kaiser and comes with their standard 6 oz flame grilled burger, with guacamole, salsa, cheese and banana peppers; I added lettuce, tomato and bacon to mine. After the wait of 15 mins, I got my burger. It felt big in my hands. Unfortunately, I was in a rush and I had to wolf it down, but I must say, I enjoyed every bite. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.
