Delicious!! Every dish was scrumptious, the service was top notch! The patio setting is lovely! Couldn’t have wished for a better dinner. Even managed to cater to my dining partner who has many food restrictions. Far Surpassed our expectations. Total gem in Port Moody!
Love this place. Not only is the food out of this world delicious, but the staff go above and beyond. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Valentines dinner was delicious! I had the smoked bocconcini, tomato, beet salad and then the steelhead enter. My husband had the salmon corn chowder and then the braised short rib enter All were very good and good sized portions. For dessert they served a dish of sponge cake, cheese cake, some kind of fudge ball and two giant chocolate dipped strawberries. So yummy. Everything was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented
This place never fails to delight. The staff are amazing and their service is exemplary. It is one of our favorite haunts and we bring many people to try it out as well.
Celebrated our anneversary at Saint St Grill. Had an amazing meal. Both our choices were great. Halibut was so soft and render, but the sauce was simply to die for. The service was great too. Highly recommended!
Some of the best memories of my life accompanied by some of the best food I've had the pleasure to eat! Thank you guys
Thank you so much for opening early for our friend's baby shower. You were so accommodating, your staff were wonderful and the food was fantastic. I highly recommend your restaurant!! Thanks again!!
Amazing! Atmosphere, staff, menu, location...all top notch! Highly recommend, will return again!
Awesome place to eat. The Kangaroo meat was to die for, I'm always up to trying new foods and the scenery was very relaxing. I'll definitely come again.
I brought my girlfriend here for dinner and was blown away at the service to begin, then the food was DELISH!! The preparation was impressive as well as the decorations. There is a Christmas tree on the ceiling!! Love it!! Will definitely be back and recommend it everyone looking for an amazing meal!!
I always thought of Saint St Grill as the best venue for celebrations and date night dinners. Now that I'm in Moody Centre daily, I discovered it's a great place for lunch.
Food was amazing. Great service & ambiance. Love the decor and Christmas touch! Highly recommend. We will be back.

❤️Love love love this quaint romantic gem. I have been going for years. The food is always great. And the staff are lovely.
Amazing food and wine! A lovely time on the patio!
Have been there for years and years in a row for new years!!! Always amazing service. Best restaurant ive been to for a very long time. I have to thank all staff and employees. Never had any complaints and the environment was extremely beautiful & elegant! Food was by far amazing.
Best place to eat in Port Moody! Jay and his staff offer a wonderful dining experience
Enjoyed our evening . Wonderful service, lovely decor, and great food.
We always celebrate our special occasions here and are never disappointed.
First time here! Great food, great ambience, and great service.
Originally we were planning to have dinner at another restaurant in Port Moody, but it was fully booked, so I looked up on Yelp and tried to find a good restaurant in the neighbourhood. I saw this restaurant was highly rated, so I decided to give it a try.
Our server (called James(?)... hope I didn’t get his name wrong) was offering great customer service. He took great care of our table from the beginning to the end of the meal. He was humoured and friendly. He answered our questions about the food on the menu and introduced us to the special dishes for the day.
5 of us ordered the seafood chowder and 1 ordered a grilled Caesar salad. The seafood chowder had a lot of seafood and the flavour of the soup tasted excellent!! We had not had good chowder in a long time. The grilled Caesar salad was very special that we didn’t usually see it on others’ menus.
One of us ordered Arctic char. I ordered seafood bouillabaisse. Two of us ordered the prawn tagliatelle. One ordered chicken. And one order beast of duck. All of them tasted great. I don’t want to describe every single dish. I personally paid attention to quality, flavour and presentation. These dishes met all my requirements.
We also ordered a flourless chocolate tart and a small cheesecake with granola crumb and apricot jam as desserts. The flourless chocolate tart was delicious that it was not tasted too sweet but it seems we were eating chocolates in heaven. The chocolate tart tasted better than the cheesecake but both were good.
There is a lot of street parking. Don’t need to worry about parking. The interior design is very traditional but classic fine dining type. Pricing is reasonable at this level of restaurant. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you would like to celebrate any special occasions, anyone’s birthday, or have a date or family gathering.
This is one of my favorite restaurants and one of the best places to eat in the Tri-Cities. The atmosphere is inviting, the service polite and very friendly and the food is great. I have eaten there many times mostly with my wife and friends and often taken clients there as a treat. Most of them then become regulars at this establishment and are happy for the introduction to the restaurant. Jay the owner and host is a delight and always accommodating for special requests. Especially like the seafood chowder soup and beautifully cooked steaks all hand cut and lovingly prepared. Bar and wine selection also good. If the weather is good they also have a great outdoor patio.
I happened to stumble upon this place by accident today. A group of us intended to go to the roti place next door for lunch but it was closed. As it was pouring rain out, we looked for another place to eat that was within the immediate surroundings and decided to eat at Saint St. Grill. From the outside it is unassuming. Nestled amongst other buildings it looks quite ordinary and old with a moss covered roof. When you peak through the windows it becomes intriguing. The decor is an eclectic mix of Victorian and Roman themed pieces with pink chandeliers over white clothed tables that are set for more of a fine dining experience. As we walked inside it stirred up memories of my grandmothers old Victorian house both in smell and feel. They had a simple 2 page menu for lunch which I appreciated (I tend to dislike menus with too many options). The menu consisted of salads, soups, some pasta dishes, and some sandwich/wrap options. I opted for the pulled pork belly, apple bacon sandwich on a pretzel bun with a side of their tomato soup with pesto. Both were absolutely delicious. It was probably the best tomato soup I have had. The soup was hearty and had delicious fleshy chunks of tomato in it with fresh pesto and the pork belly....well it's pork belly. You can never go wrong with pork belly. My meal cost around $16, which I felt was more than reasonable for the quality of food I consumed. Overall I was pleasantly surprised by food here and our group all seemed to enjoy what they ordered. I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant soon to experience their dinner menu.
It was ok. Not great, not bad, just ok.
Really reminded me of the early 1980's sort of.
We had Calamari, Carpaccio, Lamb Pappardelle & Beef Brisket.
Carpaccio was the best of the bunch. Calamari & Brisket were ok
Vegetables were slightly under cooked & could have used a hit of sea salt.
The lamb just didn't translate well. I get the idea but it was lacking character.
Fresh Thyme, VSOP maybe?
The meatballs were a little dense (perviously frozen?)
I believe they may be doing a menu revamp shortly, would I give it another try?
On the fence @ this time.
PART TWO Feb 2019 - Much Better this time around.
Gnocchi was excellent, NY the same.
Shared the meatball happy also very nice. Good Wine list, decent beer selection.
Still can't warm up to the decor but that's just me others seem to like it.
The crab/lobster cakes and the ethical foie gras are great. So were the triple chocolate mousse and the Crème Bluree. The steak and the seafood pot are good, but a little pricey. The service was good. Overall we enjoyed our 25th anniversary dinner at this unique and decent eatery.
After reading some reviews, I was quite hesitant to go to Saint St Grill to celebrate our 6 year anniversary. But I'm glad I didn't insist on canceling our reservation because that would have been a huge mistake. For appies, hubby and I shared the crab & lobster cakes and a smoked coccocini beet salad. I could tell the crab cakes were made fresh. My hubby really detests beet but surprisingly, he ate the salad and wanted more! For our mains, I had the seafood pot. It was delicious and full of seafood! Hubs had the special of tenderloin cutlets with a mUshroom sauce served with veggies. He really enjoyed his dish. Saint Street Grill is one of the fancier restaurants in the TriCities and I'm glad we went there o celebrate our anniversary.
There is a certain pressure when a friend refers to you a restaurant that they love and then gift you a certificate to enjoy it. You almost feel obligated to love it by proxy, and enjoy it cause your meal is basically paid for. There is even more pressure when you are a blogger and know that they will be reading your work and what you write could affect your relationship in the future. Luckily I need not exaggerate or embellish, their love of this establishment was founded, and I enjoyed myself as much as they do each and every time they go. They visit at least once a month and by coincidence we found ourselves doing so together at the same time today.
Anniversary success!!! - 5 star!!!. Simply loved this place!! First time there and it won't be our last!
the service was extraordinary! He was professional and fun. Not pushy in any way but there to top up the wine when needed and we didn't have to wait impatiently for him to fulfill our dinner needs. Top notch! I had rib eye and my husband had fillet Mignon and it was fabulous. We both ranked our meal higher than other locals like the Keg and Boathouse. My only suggestion would have been a larger portion of scallops for the appetizer (2 for $14 was a bit high) We will recommend to our friends and we will definitely return. Thanks for making it an extra special anniversary! Oh and try their coconut crusted cheesecake ... Yum!!!
Our Port Moody Favourite Place. Top notch food and very friendly service.
Priced a bit more like a good Vancouver Restaurant but with quality to match.
It is always a special dinner.
This place is more for those interested in cuisine than a quick bite. Entrés are all in the $25-34 range and the quality of the food was excellent. We had the benison and the chicken breast with a carpaccio appy. Good wine, good service, good times. Elegant without being pretentious.
Amazing Food, Amazing Service, Amazing Atmosphere & Ambiance. This is by far my favourite place to dine for any occasion. The food is amazing, the service is amazing and the ambiance is great! They offer a great selection of western fusion type food, with outstanding service. This restaurant outshines many higher end "fine dining" establishments. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone, if you haven't tried it you haven't lived life to the fullest!
