Review Donair Town - Port Coquitlam

They have such delicious donair kebabs and the staff are very nice and fast.

This is a great place to have donair. I just don't understand how can other reviews be that negative. I have been here many times, normally follow my appointment in the area. The food has been consistently good. The portion is huge, quality is nice, taste good, and price is great.

One of the best Donair restaurants I've been to! I loved their fries dipped in garlic sauce (I've actually never tried fries with garlic sauce before) The Donairs there are really good! The huge painting of Santorini is really beautiful!

Great price and delicious. I had the chicken fries with everything on them. The portion was big, didn't think I would finish but I did. Would totally recommend and return next time I am in POCO.

Amazing donairs and the chicken fries are awesome as well. Way better than the Donair Affair nearby and this place really knows how to treat you well as a regular with extras.

this place was great! I just happened to be in poco and stumbled onto it, but it matches up with the great donairs in the city, and good. Plus, the staff were extra nice and friendly. If youre in the area and need a bite, you have got to come here.

I'm disappointed that this place is now closed! Their donairs were dope and the lady who would put mine together was always so nice. They had a good variety and the sizes were always generous for the price. I hope that now that they're gone, they've just moved elsewhere rather than out of business. All the best to the ladies at the counter. Thank you for being so wonderful over the years. Perhaps this is too personal, but I'll say it anyways in case they might see this. I've been having a rough few years and my then-partner would pick up food for me here on days when I couldn't get out of bed from depression. When he came home with your food, it always brightened my day because this is one of my fave foods and I loved getting it from here. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Upon first entering, you can tell this place isn't cleaned often. Most of the tables were covered in food residue and the overall atmosphere screams indifference. I ordered a falafel plate - which was sub-par compared to any other donair restaurant from recent memory in both size and flavor - and realized right as I handed her the money that I was dinged an extra dollar. I called her on it, and she said that the feta cheese and one other unimportant ingredient I got were "extra toppings" that cost an additional 50 cents each. When I was ordering, she didn't even give the slightest inclination that these were gonna be extra because at many places they aren't. She had this attitude like "lol you didn't know these are extra? Sucks.", and was completely belligerent when I told her she should warn people about it before it's too late. It ruined the meal. If I'd realized sooner I would've just left and ate somewhere else on sheer principle. Okay prices, bad food, and terrible service. I won't be returning.

worst food and service i ever had , same owner running the two donair place with two different name , Donair Licious and Donair affair 2540 Mary Hill Rd, Port Coquitlam, they changing the price all the time and they love to get more from people .

For me, hygiene is very important when it comes to food and this place is far from it. The ambience upon my visit has a very bad stench with unclean tables and floor which turned me off immediately. <br/><br/>Food is just aveage

It's alright, when they first opened the portion was a fair size however as time has gone on the portion size for a donair has gotten a little smaller, it's too bad because the donair is actually pretty good.<br/><br/>I have always gotten good service and the place has always been clean while I have been there. It's worth a shot, but you might have to get 2 donairs to fill you up.

The food is decent, but the service is terrible. I go to Tasty honkin donair now it's on Maryhill bypass and Kingsway. Same food waayyy nicer owner and employees.

BAD QUIALITY , POOR SERVICE. I order fries and the taste was awful i believe they use old oil for cooking , also the donair plate and sandwich was bad as well not fresh . do not waste your money here !

This placed used to be good when they first opened but now it's gone down hill. I heard the owner sold the place so that might be why. I went there one day and the woman working behind the counter had no idea what went in the donair. She had the music blaring so it was so hard to hear each other. The experience felt like a bad nightclub with bad music playing. The donair was really soggy because she put way to much sauce in it.

Just left the place and I am very sad to say Sam is gone and the two woman running the place are a poor excuse for owners or workers , I ordered a chicken plate and it was smaller then useal and less flavor , I found a long piece of fiber in my food went to show them they said onion I explained it was not and they stood and argued with me and was disrespectful , they asked me what u want me to do about it I finaly said just refund my money and told them how rude they were and they should never talk to customers like that .

Best Donairs in the Tri-City area, hands down. Can't speak for the rest of the menu because I only ever get Donairs; why mess with perfection.

What happened to this place? My husband and I have been a once a week visitor since they opened. The last two times the rice was undercooked and crunchy on the chicken plate and the rice grain has changed. We went again today and we got charged for jalapenos when it was the same way we had our plates since day one and have never been charged. They cheaped out on how much chicken we got, barely any this time, we got old ripped pitas and our hummus was lacking taste and watery! Where is Sam???? There is just some woman and kid I have never seen before who claim they are The new owners :(

'Used to Be' Best Donair, not just in Port Coquitlam! Not Anymore.. Used to Be: This is now our go-to donair place. Once I taste the best, I just keep going back.<br/><br/>Their chicken donair is absolutely delicious. The beef donair is like everywhere else, good. And then their lamb donair is just exceptional. You don't get the lamb mix meat, you get real lamb meat - fresh, juicy, tender, tasty ... it's like eating expensive Greek restaurant food at fast food price and style. I'll bite :)<br/><br/>Food is always fresh, tasty, very reasonable prices. Lots of regulars, lots of take outs. The owner, if you catch him, is very personable. So glad to have such good food at good prices in the neighbourhood.<br/><br/>Apr 2012 Update - Unfortunately, they changed their homemade lamb donair to the generic stack, so it is the same as everywhere else. Where it tastes more like beef and really salty. Too bad, the lamb donair is what makes them stand out from the rest. When asked why (a young man there), he said he could not sell enough of them and they dried out and they had to throw it out. The owner (older guy), whom I never see anymore, always sold out the lamb before my dinner time. I had to go early to get it. <br/><br/>Anyway, now I just go there for the chicken donair (which is too salty now). The rice used to be tender and juicy, now it is drier and more plastic like - either a different grain or old rice recooked. The quality has definitely dropped. Where is the owner? He was happy, personable and has good quality food. I would gladly pay more for good quality food than the same generic salty meat loaf. <br/><br/>I was going there often before but that ends now. Downhill... sad :(

Chicken donair with sweet & sour sauce = BOSS!! Usually I go to Ben Laila but my friend ended up bringing us here. Delicious!!! Ends up its the old original owner of Donair town near the 7-11.

GREAT, YUMMY. I went there for donairs, and just the SMELL made my mouth water! Once I tasted it, I went to heaven. 'nuff said.
