Great place to spend some good time with friends but had to give up on food as the wait to get the food was too long. Thus 3 stars! Enjoyed a beer with friends by the lake and would say the ambiance is great. Serving staff was doing it’s best to serve but I believe it was the Kitchen which was overwhelmed with the orders.

Nice staff and yummy food. Have always had a good experience here! A little pricey but that’s somewhat expected! Would recommend

Came on a busy Friday afternoon and had to wait about 40 minutes for a table. The hostesses taking our reservations were super nice and friendly. I saw a bunch of people go up to them after putting their names down asking how many tables were ahead of them intermittently, and they answered pleasantly each time despite how annoying it must've been. (I confess, I did it too!) We were seated in the patio area and had a great view of the lake and Duke's. In terms of food, the kiddo got a steak off the kids menu. She wanted medium rare and when she saw it, she was a bit nervous that it was overdone but it was medium rare, exactly how she asked for it. I got Buffalo chicken wrap and my partner got a the naan sandwich. I also ordered a kombucha punch and he ordered something orange, which I forgot the name of. Overall, I liked the service, drinks and view although the food was just okay. The menu was huge though, so we would definitely come back and try something else next time. The calamari the table beside us ordered looked amazing!

Excellent Patio, service and food! It’s very rare to find a great place to eat. The four of us all had something different and we were not disappointed!! Looking forward to our next visit!

Great location, great atmosphere. Love that they are pet friendly. Service was good-they were super busy and it was really hot, so that may have slowed them down a bit! We were a group of 5 adults, 2 babies, and 2 dogs-they were very accommodating.

We have been here several times. Beautiful patio overlooking the water. Food is great and big portions too. The service there is excellent! Very friendly staff.

The view and service was amazing but the food however, was mediocre. We had guacamole and chips and not one nacho chip was full sized. It look liked someone punched a bag of nachos and gave us the crumbs. We ordered veggie fajitas and it came with a main serving of celery and carrots. Update: they tell you to e-mail them but no one gets back to you.

Service is great, patio is awesome and the menu and food is fantastic. Slightly pricey but everything else makes it worth it.

Great spot. Great patio right on the water to watch the hustle and bustle of the boats in the summer. Can go for a walk to the multiple stores after eating. Had the hamburger of which was great. A little expensive but you don't go to the heart of the Muskoka's for a cheap hamburger :) Very friendly waitress. Highly recommend.

We went to There for lunch and it almost turned into dinner. No big deal we had to wait 30 min for a table. We sat in the sun. After we got seated. We waited 15 min for a server to come by. I know they were busy. However we got our drinks and ordered our food. It honestly took 50 min for 4 dishes to arrive. The server never came to do a quality check. I expect more from a place like this. I'm being very generous giving 2 stars.

Came all the way from Huntsville after work to eat here. Definitely recommend the steak. Friendly waitresses and great food �

Love this place. Great food, great service and the outdoor patio on the water is so amazing. We travel 4hrs to go at least once a yesr.

Had dinner at Turtle Jack's tonight. It was busy, but not excessively so. They were out of draught beer and numerous cans and bottles. It took a while to get a table because of a misunderstanding at the hostess desk. When my food arrived, the fries were cold and the beer was warm, and they brought the wrong item. Long story short, they comped my whole meal. Very impressed with the service recovery - will return again.

Always love going to Turtle Jacks when I am in Port Carling. Tops off the shopping nicely! Swift service with lots of cheery and polite staff.

The worst service ever. 20 minutes not a single server came by. Manager very busy chatting and looking for a table for friend of his that came by. Terrible terrible service. So disappointed

Awesome staff and amazing food! I love meeting up at Turtle Jacks and coming in off the water. It is a fantastic location in the heart of Muskoka.

Omg i usually love turtle jacks we go 2 to 3 x a week in summer when we are at cottage but yesterday 15thjuly i dont know what happened 45 min wait to get in People were walking out pissed off..asking ppl to wait in a curtained room service was slow ceasar salad which we all usually love was horrid no sauce i can tell they threw it together in a hurry when asked what the problem was the 3 girls standing at front instead of setting tables that were empty for 10 mins at a time blamed kitchen they were all looking dumfounded . And giggling and lost...we brought friends with us too was so disappointed because we always rave about this place .thank god big bang shrimp was still awesome .dear god what happened yesterday ?????. You need new staff .quick .so unorganized the front staff yelling at waitresses in back 4 familys walked out with 6 tables sitting empty for over 15 mins ...this problem really needs addressing one disappointed customer Our waitress was awesome though i realize this is a busy place but not with empty tables sitting there should people be standing that long !!!!!����
