This place is good, and has the potential to be great. The location is great and the place is really charming. Staff and service was great and food was good. That being said, there is room for improvement when it comes to the food. The salad was missing some “pep” and the main dishes were a bit too salty. We will definitely give this place a second chance!
This restaurant is absolutely amazing! The food, wine selection, and cocktails were great. I really recommend getting the French onion soup and the gnocchis (the sauce for the gnocchis was to die for). Moreover, the staff were extremely friendly. I bought a gift certificate for my parents to enjoy a nice meal and this was definitely the best place to give them that gift certificate. In addition, you have parking right in front of the restaurant which is a big bonus. Tip: I would suggest making a reservation in advance as this restaurant is quite popular. I would also recommend booking early (5:30 pm to 6:30 pm), if possible, as you would get more time to enjoy in this beautiful charming place. Thank you Le Gourmand for the wonderful experience 😊

I called last minute to see if we can get some appetizers and drinks by the bar. My boyfriend has never been before and had the most incredible experience. Everyone around was so friendly and the atmosphere was warm and cozy. It really is such a beautiful restaurant. The staff was professional and engaging. I highly recommend this place
Wonderful restaurant. Cozy country atmosphere. The service was friendly and attentive. Drinks and wine were great. The food was fantastic offering unique flavor profiles that worked well together. Definitely will be going back and thanks for a wonderful evening.
I've only been here a handful of times but every time I've gone, I have greatly enjoyed the experience.
The ambiance is relaxed and refined, but unpretentious, while the food is *always* excellent. The staff here are incredibly easygoing and willing to make substitutions and accomodations that suit your particular dietary needs (which is highly appreciated as I have many severe food allergies).
I'll have to start coming more often than once a year, I think.
Amazing restaurant located in the Point Claire village close to the water. The food is great and very delicious, friendly staff and great vibe, thanks to Laetitia, Sofía and Bob. They have a nice heated Terrace and can be covered if it rains. Highly recommend.
We were there last night, Aug 4, 2021 for an Anniversary Dinner. Masks on when entering and once at your table they can be removed. The tables were well space the food and service were excellent. We had the beet salad as well as the crab cakes to start, delicious! Followed up with the duck and salmon, very good as well. We had a nice romantic setting on the terrace, our first resto experience since COVID. It was great to be out for dinner and happy that we chose Le Gourmand. Cheers
