Rusty Anchor Restaurant - Pleasant Bay - Photo album

What a cute little restaurant! Very friendly service and food was awesome. Really good. Almost all the choices were of the sea food variety, my husband enjoyed his lobster rolls. I don't eat sea food so I had the chicken Havarti burger. It was delicious. Really good place to check out if you are in
The fisherman’s platter had generous serving of food! The lobster is fresh. Lobster poutine is great! As is the blueberry lemonade. Great spot to watch the sunset! Mind you, the restaurant is short staffed and we waited about an hour for food to arrive after ordering, but we were informed by the sta
We ordered the lobster rolls and Fettuccine Alfredo. Taste and service were both good. Their lobster rolls look small, but they are packed with lobster meat only (not slaw and mayo), so they still pack value in them. It is probably the best option driving counterclockwise from Ingonish Beach towards
Sometimes - often - the experience of a restaurant is through the interactions with the people who serve, feed and greet us. The Rusty Anchor has a lot going for it. After hiking the AMAZING skyline trail, this is the closest restaurant heading towards the north shore. We arrived late, just before
We went here for lunch after a long hike to see the breathtaking views on the Skyline Trail and we were starving so we must have ordered half the menu. Everything was delicious! Their lobster rolls may seem small, but it’s because they don’t fill them with mayo and other veggies to pad them out, it
First customers of the 2022 season! What an amazing menu, as a group of five we were able to sample several dishes, the mussels were a big hit, other top choices were the haddock burger and lobster rolls as well as their unique fish cakes which are like no others. Will plan our next trip on the trai
This place has an amazing view! Got the lobster roll with coleslaw and a cup of chowder. The food was okay.. fun that it was the claw in a bun but have a feeling it was the frozen product you can get here? Anyway, you come here for the atmosphere. Maybe next time I would try a burger.
My friend and I really loved the Rusty Anchor. She got the mussels and I got the Burger that Ate Cape Breton. The fish was so fresh and flakey. One of the best fish sandwiches I've had in as long as I can remember. The scenery of the coast was gorgeous. I'll be back without a doubt.
