Been twice for dinner, best food north of the Fraser outside Vancouver.
Coq au Vin = outstanding A nice Paella, Caeser salad. Onion Tart,. Risotto.
Classic cooking, done well :)
Reservations recommended as it is consistently busy.

We had a bunch of recommendations for the Firehall Bistro so hubby made a reservation to take me there for our anniversary. When we got there, the place was busy and the waitress informed us someone had stolen our reservation. Really?! Well, turns out there was one table left and we were seated in the far back. This actually turned out well for us because there was a loud party in the front. The food was really good. Hubby ordered mushroom risotto with steak and I ordered a chicken dish. Our overall experience at Firehall Hall Bistro was positive. I understand why someone would steal our reservation there.
The best place for a meal in Pitt/Ridge....if you aren't paying. The food rivals any top restaurant in Vancouver, but the ambience is only upscale Pitt Meadows. The owner and co are very pleasant.
This restaurant is fine dining at reasonable prices. Last time we had the pan-fried calamari with yogurt dill sauce, and our entrees included hand-made ravioli in the most intensely flavoured tomato sauce I've ever had, pork shank that fell off the bone, and crispy chicken and risotto. All three were fantastic. Wines are reasonably priced and the service is excellent. We also tried three desserts including an inspired chocolate trifle dish with fresh berries which is phenomenal. The atmosphere is laid back, classy and private. Worth the trip!
Really great food. Very expensive though! I would only come here maybe once a year on a special occasion because of how expensive it is. The portion wasn't that big either, a little disappointing there. All in all though I would go back again.
Second visit - and excellent as per usual!. Excellent GENUINE service - not the fake fawning over you, that you get from the Keg or Cactus Club, here the servers remember you and leave you to have a great meal with friends or family. You certainly wont see them doing the SUPER cheesy server routine of sitting down at your table and chatting with you....
Food is excellent. Chef's special twice and WOW -fresh quality local food at a very fair price.
Deserts are great too. We shared one as the mains were so filling.
This is one of the few restaurants that I am happy to tip 15% or 20% as they earn it, with fantastic service and excellent food. My wife and I can't wait to go back!
Also - the Oyster Bay Pinot Grigio (from NZ) - IS AMAZING.
Delicious. We went to the Firehall Bistro for a wedding anniversary. The food was delicious and the service was very attentive. We would definitely recommend and will be going back again soon.
The Hidden Gem of Pitt Meadows. Who knew you could find such elegant fine dining tucked away in the heart of Pitt Meadows? I love this place. The food is delicious. They obviously have a great chef.
I was there recently with my fiance. He ordered the steak and I ordered a seafood paella dish. My fiance's steak was so tender he didn't even need a steak knife and my dish was perfectly spiced and flavored. The service was good too. Our waitress was quite lovely.
It's a good place to go for a date. It's small and quiet so it's a good place to go and enjoy some delicious food, great drinks, and reconnect with the people you love.
It's a bit pricey but worth it. I think it's similar in prices to The Keg but I would rather eat here any day.
Make sure you make a reservation as they get fully booked often.
Firehall bistro is a very good restaurant! You will not be disappointed. The food is great, nice atmosphere,great service, awesome drinks with top shelf alcohol. I'm not a snob but high end booze is better!! This is a special occasion place or a regular haunt.
Our meal and service were excellent! The Tapas plate for two was delicious with the in house made flat breads and pretzel. Our main meals were equally delicious. Thanks Chef Stephen!
A wonderful find!. Met a client last night who had just chosen this restaurant online because of location. This is a great restaurant. Flavour, combinations of texture and originality of the dishes. Absolutely great!
A girls night out "let's give this place a try" turned into a "WOW! Must take our hubbies here next time! And parents! And...." From salads to start, beautiful and delicious entrees, then mind blowing dessert - they didn't disappoint. My risotto was perfection - I seriously fought the urge to lick my plate clean. My peanut butter parfait was a thing of beauty, and tasted as good as it looked. A must try, love, return!

Just a great night with great food and friends!. Last Friday I was taken by family and friends to the Firehall Bistro while visiting them in Pitt Meadows. I was in Vancouver for a conference. To say the food was great is an understatement...it was just wonderful. The service was great, the atmosphere was great, and I left with a really warm feeling that one only gets when one has had a fine dining experience. I enjoyed the Paella with home made sausage and seafood...just superb. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food and ambiance of the venue. I highly recommend this to people who want to have a great night out.
Awesome. Have dinned at this restaurant 3 times now and it is one of my favorites in the Lower Mainland !! Service is great as is the Menu and the staff !!

This is Pitt Meadows "litlle secret". My wife and I were so thrilled with this place. High quality fresh food and a great wine list. Service was very friendly. This is a small restaurant so make reservations.
Delicious! Super great service! Really reasonably price! Wine list is great and priced really well. They bring you crostinis which where amazing! All our food was really good! Couple drinks each, and dessert and the bill was only $80ish with tax! Highly recommended!
If you have not tried this restaurant please do so!!! We live just outside of Pitt meadows and love the daily prepared menu with fresh ingredients. For the price you can't go wrong. Plus the mark up on wine is exceptionally reasonable. Small and quiet ambiance perfect for the start to a nice night out
