Fat Tony’s has been a favourite of mine since we first moved to Pictou on thanksgiving weekend over a year ago and couldn’t look at another slice of pizza while we were up to our ears in boxes, lol... we stumbled out into our new town in the rain, and found fat Tony’s for our first real meal here, and I was hooked!
My absolute favourite thing to order was fish and this salad (I can’t remember the name of it) with beats and goat cheese etc (I’m very sad my salad is no longer on the menu, but still love eating here).
Great food, and great people... and now I’m hungry... lol
Very few restaurants around here have a salad other then Caesar, garden, or Greek.. I really do hope you’ll consider bringing back my salad I craved so badly �

We decided to give Fat Tony's one last chance after hearing some positive comments about all of the new changes in staffing and management. I'm very pleased to say that we are glad we did. The service was fantastic (Kristy), the food was great (philly beef dip) and the new decor is beautiful...very warm and welcoming - so, so much better than the institutional fish bowl decor that it used to be. We would like to see table service after the kitchen closes, when that happens we will most likely return for nightly entertainment. Nonetheless, if you've been here before and had a negative experience, give this new crew a try :)
