We stayed in room 105 at the Merrill Inn while touring PEC’s wineries and breweries (and distillery!)- this place was beautiful, the location is ideal to the main area of town and the Breakfast included in their beautiful on-site restaurant was delicious!
A total recommend. (They even have a little gift shop!)
They have a Christmas package out right now for $299 for a full weekend stay with dinner/etc. Worth exploring!
A lovely spot for a calm and relaxing getaway. Great beds, beautiful historic building and....Amazing Cuisine with well paired local wine selections. The dinner was so delicious, and the service excellent in the small but very comfortable dining room. Kudos, Merrill Inn!

Absolutely amazing. The house is beautiful and the staff are all very friendly. The room was clean, bright and comfortable. Lovely bathroom with the softest towels I've ever used! Robes, extra pillows and blankets can be found in the closet. We enjoyed coffee on the screened in porch at the front of the house in the morning. The included breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend staying here.
My Mom lives in Picton so for special occasions when l visit we have been to the Merrill Inn many times. We have also visited other top Chef restaurants in the area but consistency of taste and quality has been lacking. For consistently outstanding food and service, especially when the occasion really counts, l choose the Merrill Inn. I am a trained chef myself and although l don't cook professionaly l do have very high standards, after all if l can do it better why go out. A must try.

Dinner with four parents, wife and toddler. Very good food, but great dessert. My parents all say it was the best meal they ever ate.
When I go to Picton , to visit my MOM , my GrandChildren take turns staying with Gramma me at the Inn ?

A lovely comfortable home away from home. The owners have thought of everything. The beds are comfortable, robes are provided and the natural lavender shampoo, conditioner, body wash and skin lotion also provided are heavenly. My hair and skin felt so good using their own products. The restaurant is delightful, small and intimate and the food is delicious. The Merrill Inn is centrally located and we walked the main street a lot. As well, there are many wineries and points of interest that are not far to drive to. It was one of the best weekend getaways that I have ever had.
My wife and I celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary and stayed at the Merrill Inn. What a lovely place. Friendly staff, amazing food and a welcoming upscale environment tucked away in the heart of Prince Edward County.
We will stay here again without hesitation.

Wonderful quiet quaint little historic Inn. Just a 3 minute walk to downtown Picton shops. Best of all the food. Merrill Inn is on our return to list

My wife and I stayed for a weekend in June. The building is magnificent. Though some reconstruction work was going on, it did not interfere with our stay. The room was comfy and clean. While the building was great, our hosts Kathleen and Chris really made the experience worthwhile. This couple is friendly, and down to earth. Chris is a masterful cook and prepared a truly awesome breakfast including his signature smoked bacon. Kathleen was a tremendous host, she is a knowledgeable and enthusiastic local guide who wants to ensure all guests are comfortable and well taken care of. The amenities are lovely (pool, hot tub, fire pit and seating areas). We
would recommend this place to anyone looking for an oasis in Picton!
We had a wonderful vacation at The Manse!
Our room was not huge but spotless and very pretty. It is so well equipped with beautiful towels and bathrobes.
The pool and hot tub are just a dream and the ambience is incredible!

Just back from a wonderful weekend at The Manse. It's such a beautiful spot for a getaway and Kathleen and Chris were amazing hosts! They're so warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. Chris is a great chef and we loved every meal he prepared for us. The food was delicious and you could tell that it was put together with love and attention. Chris and Kathleen give service a new definition- they went above and beyond with their professionalism and hospitality. Rooms were meticulously clean; Chris’s culinary skills were of Michelin’s standards- the lamb chops were so succulent. Price point/ communication- 7 star. We have travelled all over the world- so when we say we will return, it means a lot!
Where do I begin? The food is incredible, Chef Chris astounded us at every meal. His pulled pork is mouth watering and breakfasts were amazing. His passion for cooking is contagious. Kathleen & Chris both welcomed us with open arms and we will be back in the near future.
The grounds are quaint and romantic, nestled behind the church. Walking around Picton was a real treat. There is a little something for everyone at the Manse. We have already recommended this spot to our friends and family. Thank you for providing the backdrop for our memorable weekend and engagement.
I’m am typically not a fan of a bed and breakfast, but I have to say I was very impressed with the Manse. The space is beautiful and tranquil, just off the main strip in Picton, walking distance from shopping and restaurants. That being said the food at the Manse is DELICIOUS . Everything is updated and Very clean. Kathleen and Chris were terrific! Can’t wait to go back next year!

Our stay at the Manse was absolutely wonderful! The innkeepers were very welcoming and made sure our stay was nothing less than perfect. Since there are only 7 rooms, it is a very tranquil place where you can cozy up after a day of tours, beaches etc. We can’t wait to go back!
