Review Bollocks - Pickering

I’ve dined here recently and I find myself coming back once a week! Each time I’ve come I’ve had Amanda as my server who is amazing! She’s super nice, helpful and friendly and knows the menu so well- everything she’s suggested was divine! The chicken wings are flavourable, juicy, the quesadillas are delicious as well as their tacos. I would 100% come back here and recommend to anyone.

I really enjoyed the chicken wings, the sauce were really good. I tried the heaven and he'll, it was really spicy. Sweet potato also was really good. Easy to get parking and it wasn't packed, staff were really friendly and helpful. The cheesecake also was good.

The food was alright, I ordered the the poke bowl and it wasn’t my favourite but their burgers are great. Overall just a chill place to have an evening drink with friends.

Lots of great food here that's EXTREMELY VEGGIE friendly. I find it so difficult to eat and drink at pubs because the variety of food is quite limited to mostly burgers etc. Nice to see different options. I would say it's not as updated interior and less people around overall. This place is very cozy and tbh if you want to not be disturbed and just have a nice drink and grub. This is your go to place.

Great place for wings. Amazing selection and flavors. Also the best nachos I've ever had anywhere. Overall the food is fantastic and so is the service. The atmosphere of the restaurant is the one thing that doesn't quite live up as it's somewhat boring.

Amazing amount of food that I had at lunch. So glad I didnt eat a big breakfast. I didnt even want to dinner. Lol. Great price and specials also for wings & burgers joined with beer

Really good food & service! Everyone is friendly, the food is delicious! I have just discovered this place & the 2 times I have been with friends, we have been very happy! We will be back - this may become my new local (the local in my 'hood is expensive for a pub)

Sam was great behind the bar, and the burger was almost more than I could handle. Nice friendly place for a drink with friends.

I very hesitantly went for dinner tonight. I say hesitantly because I have Celiac disease and eating out is incredibly scary for me since I can get incredibly sick so easily. The menu only indicated 2 items to be gluten free, both of which I did not want. Our server, Hannah, quickly told me they have gluten free buns for the gluten free burgers, gluten free pasta and pizza (not indicated on the menu). I ordered a bacon cheese burger without a bun (I'm not a fan of buns). Hannah came back and told me they weren't going to put bacon on my burger because it is deep fried. I was very impressed by her and the kitchen's understanding of cross contamination. My food was very tasty, my husband was very happy with his meal, the price was reasonable and Hannah really cared about making sure I was comfortable eating out. Great food, excellent service and no celiac reaction. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We had our Wedding Reception at Bollocks Pub & Kitchen, Pickering Ontario. We have never wrote a review on line, but we just had to share our experience. First of all what a joy working with John Allen and his staff, not only was he very accommodating but made our day very personal. We took full advantage of using all the TV'S (as it is a sports bar). We had pictures playing throughout the evening with not only pictures of us as a couple but all our friends and family that were at the reception. We also hired a Videographer to video our Ceremony and played it during desert, as we only had immediate family at our Ceremony. It was a special touch that John worked closely with our crew. Our guests arrived at 5:30 for finger foods consisting of deep fried pickles, mini meatballs and jalapeno potato poppers. We had so many compliments on how good they tasted. We arrived at 6:00 for our first dance and funny speaches. And then we all sat down to our first course which was a lovely fresh garden salad, the dressing was not only delicious but not too heavy. Our main course was a prime rib dinner, with roasted potatoes and seasonal veggies and the most tasty gravy... did I mention the towering yorkshire pudding. We had so many compliments not only on how delicious it was, but the portion size was huge. Dessert was a lovely citrus sorbet, as we were serving our Wedding Cake later. We had the entire place to ourselves with our DJ. The staff was attentive to all our guests and every detail screamed "Wedding". John even surprised us with candles and decoration of our wedding colors. But really impressed us was the late night snack table. It was beautifully presented out on the bar, it consisted of incredibly fresh Italian meats, chesses, pickles, olives artichoke hearts and yummy crackers and bread. Our guests left full and very satisfied. John let us do a tasting prior to the Wedding. All in all it was a very cost effective way of having the most beautiful reception Thanks John and all your staff for making our Wedding spectacular. We highly recommend Bollocks for any occasion. This is the spot in Pickering for consistently delivering a great customer service experience. The food is fresh and everything is made in house. From the house made balsamic vinaigrette, to the pepper corn gravy, smoked turkey and cranberry mayo on the club, and the in house smoked ribs. You’ll find a perfect steak here too. Daily specials are always amazing. There’s an attention to detail that’s unmatched... well it’s matched in Whitby at the Bollocks at Taunton and Brock. It’s my go to place to meet friends.

My husband and I are here at least once a week. It's our after-church routine. Food is wonderful & staff is super friendly. Not a fan of replacing plates with the wood boards - it's too douchey for suburban pub fare. Wish there was a brunch menu too!

Excellent "Sports-Bar" to watch your favourite sports such as the "Superbowl, in which we did last night. As always, the staff are very accommodating, friendly and efficient, even when hosting such a large scale event like the "Superbowl" Personally, it was nice to mingle with old friends and staff again, since I had moved from the area. Since being renovated several years ago, it still has that small cozy bar feeling where friends meet on a regular basis while completely modern and updated in appearance and furnishings. It certainly still has a charm about it that keeps me coming back from Oshawa on special occasions.

Amazing food and even more amazing service at Bollock's Pub in Pickering. The Curry Lamb dish is delicious and very reasonable although all the dishes we have tried, we loved! Thank you Carrie for everything you do for us :)

Awesome food. Always fresh. Awesome staff. I'm addicted to the Chicken and goat cheese sandwich but there's something for everyone! And the porions are generous enough to take home.

I have been to many pubs, bars, and restaurants in my life and there has been some great ones! But none have ever made myself or my family feel like home as much as John and Kerri have at Bollocks. Outstanding food service and friends I would recommend this bar to anyone!

Pretty dependable pub-grub and a nice atmosphere. Loads of screens, so great for watching #fifaworldcup2018 with my son.

Bollocks is not just a "Bar". It is a place the you go to laugh, take the family for dinner (the food is fantastic), hang out with friends, or have a cool beer after a long day and decompress. Myself and a group of friends frequent Bollocks 2-3 times a week and while I don't know John very well, we have always been treated great by Kerri and the staff. We absolutely love the "friendly, family like sarcasm". Keep up the good work. Sam.

My boyfriend and I had dinner here tonight, it was extremely busy and had to wait a bit for a table which is understandable. But as soon as we got our table Mel was all over it. Cleaned up the table. Helpful. Amazing service. Super friendly and hospitable. If I had a restaurant, I would steal her, lol. Thanks again!
