Lovely little cafe right by the shore of Lake Ontario in Pickering. Owner is wonderful and friendly. We had high tea with a decent array of sandwiches (including vegetarian only on request), a freshly baked scone, chocolate brownie and a bit of fruit. Food quality was good, not on the same scale as a five star hotel in downtown Toronto but we knew that and were pleased with what we got.
Great tea and scones! Owner is full of personality! Great location, nice atmosphere! Will return for sure. Because it's a mom and pop, don't go expecting fast food service.
I heard about this place from so many people so I had to check it out for myself. It was exactly as described, fast friendly service, great tasting food. I can't wait to go back for the full 'hy tea' experience. My soup was good, the fresh made scone was to die for.
This is one of the most charming and welcoming restaurants in the GTA.
The food is top notch, and the owner is amazing. She is so friendly and fun and makes you feel like you're a part of the family and just there for a visit and a relaxing chat.

Under new Management. Tea still happening but now so much more. Mr Delicious makes up awesome foods and desserts. Lemon cheese cake was the bomb.
