Hidden gem of authentic Mexican. I always order the enchilada sueza and it never fails to be absolutely delicious. Their basa special is a delicious option as well.
The food is fantastic. Everything I've had is good, I recommend the mole sauce (kind of cocoa flavoured i think) or the green sauce. It's not too fancy, so maybe not really a date-night venue, but the food is so good and the people are sweet.
I happened to be driving by this small Mexican joint during the lunch hour and decided to drop in. I ordered two fish tacos with rice, salad, and refried beans. It was the daily special and cost roughly $14 after tax and tip. My waitress treated me to chips and salsa "on the house." I really enjoyed their hot sauce which I ordered more of for my meal. The tacos were pretty good. The fish was lightly breaded and they kept things simple with just adding hot (or mild) sauce. The corn tortillas were freshly made and very much enjoyed. I would definitely eat here again!
Down to earth little Mexican joint. The waitress is super friendly. Had the calamari in a tomato sauce, beef enchiladas with tomatillo sauce and the chicken mole. All subtly yet deliciously flavoured. Enchiladas had a little too much cheese. Warning: if you ask for the "extra spicy" sauce you'll get a serious kick.

Chimichanga! So good both chicken and beef! This place is really great! I highly deep Mexico feel that is always a fave! Fast at lunch time and always is great! I come from toronto just to eat here! Best Mexican place around!
Excellent, authentic food served with a smile. I can understand why everyone likes this place.
Enchiladas!. We both had Enchiladas one in the the green cream sauce and the other in the Diablo sauce. Both were delicious. The waiter asked me if I was sure I wanted the Diablo sauce because it was very spicy. When it arrived, It was not spicy at all! Still a good meal, and a great price, but don't expect much heat.
Expect to wait when its busy. Love this little restaurant, really fresh and tasty food, just one down fall is don't go there when its busy or expect a loooong wait for your food
If your a fan of Mexican food, you need to try this place. The best beef burrito I have eaten. The flavours are simple and the food is just good.
Good food, friendly service, worth the wait. I see I'm not the only one who had slower service. We came here because a "Lindo" restaurant not too far away was closed that evening. This is a small restaurant, with seating for 24-30, roughly. From what I could tell, there were two people working on a Monday evening. And they were *working*. Service was a bit slow; one person full-time in the kitchen, our gracious and friendly host also in the kitchen. Our nachos were hot and fresh (haven't had that at the related restaurant); I think that made them taste better. The salsa that comes with them is not spicy (feel free to ask for "Diablo" sauce). All of our dishes ("Tabasco" combo; enchiladas suiza) were freshly prepared and cooked, as expected. Maybe it was the wait, but they tasted better than at the other "Lindo" restaurants I've been to, even though the dishes (pretty much the whole menu) were the same. The wait did not seem too bad, or maybe we just didn't get impatient, but we certainly enjoyed our meals.
One of the BEST Mexican resteraunts in the GTA. Lets keep this simple. The food here is fantastic. Try the burritos or the Steak Cancun. They also make quite a good margharita. The service here can be slow sometimes and they are closed Sunday but this place is definitely worth a visit!
Too long to wait for good food. This was our first time at this restaurant. We almost left right after we walked in - the place is so tiny it looks like a takeout spot or casual eatery. But there was a lot of people, so we thought it must be good and stayed. More people were coming in, many of them picking up takeout. The room was cold because the owners kept the back door open for ventilation and the front entrance has only one door.
They were so busy or short-staffed on a Friday night that our appetizer took 1 hour to arrive. It was good though as was the meal. These were arguably the best refried beans I've tried so far. We had Nachos Fiesta which was amazing, Tabasco and Acapulco combos and chicken enchillada and beef fajitas. Everyone at our table was unanimously satisfied.
Pleasantly surprised!. Small, brightly painted, and busy Mexican restaurant. Lots of people coming in for take-out. First time to visit, hesitant to try it after living in area for a few years and didn't want to be disappointed yet again. Tried the guacamole, which was served in a cool mortar & pestle type dish, and it really tasted delicious! Perfect consistency and flavours. We had the Enchilada Suiza...the green sauce again was very flavourful. The portions were just right. The service was ok, food came out fairly fast. Definitely will eat here again!
Small n brightly lit place. The food was very tasty and we definitely be returning!
Awesome. Had the beef burrito and it is the best I've ever had. We asked for Spicy and defintely got spicy. This place is so good and the owner even gave us free nachos and salsa to munch on while we waited for our take out order.
DELISH!!!!!
One of the spicy places I've ever eaten. I don't remember what exactly I ordered (there was bits of some steak) but the spicy I asked for... Hot Awesome. I had their dessert, most interesting/tasty dessert ever at a restaurant.
Excellent!. Great food! We've eaten there many times.
My only niggles are the portion sizes are too small for my liking and occasionally the service can be spotty. The quality and uniqueness of the food however more than compensate though 8/10
Every one on our table liked what we ordered, and we ordered different ones from the menu. So no complaints with any of the dishes on the menu. I tried the Chorizo as a filling this time. Not too thrilled about it. I like the beef or the chicken better. I found the chorizo to have a really fatty taste. I’ll probably go back to the beef next time I visit.
I was looking for burritos in my area and Mexico Lindo came up as one of the options. I have zero expectations but decided to give them a try. Wow it surpassed my expectations and the burritos were delicious, made fresh to order, and the ingredients were fresh. The staff was friendly and I waited 15 minutes after I placed my order. I would come back to try their other items on the menu.
Tried the birria tacos tonight, very very good.
The tortillas were authentic tasting and lovely.
The beef was tender, flavourful, and plentiful. I loved the addition of the salsa Verde for an extra zing, and it lends so well to the rich consomme.
Perfect dish for a cold night.
Great tasting tacos & tres leches cake. Would definitely return. Only suggestion would be the temperature of the tacos. I ate it in the parking lot right away and found it just warm.
Yum food! Excellent service. Their horchata is something I could keep on drinking! Three birria tacos with the consume is delish! I am going to try everything on their menu at some point.
It’s good TexMex food. The pulled pork is really good, one of the best I’ve had. The guacamole was excellent also. One good think is the portion size is of a good size so value for money is good.
The bad is the neutral flavour of the food. Ask for extra condiments like salsa and sour cream. I didn’t ask for spicy food and it came out needing something extra; salt, pepper and hot sauce.
I would definitely recommend this place, it’s more expensive than Taco Bell but better quality food. Just get extra hot sauce packets from Taco Bell before ordering food here. That’s the only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars.
Randomly found this restaurant so we gave it a try. WOW what a surprise. Food was excellent. That Mexican flavor I wanted was right there. Will be returning. Price is good food portions are great and people are friendly.
