Best burritos in town! Loaded with meat and veggies, packed tight, and piping hot. The perfect pairing is the Spicy Beef Nachos. Loaded with cheese, ground beef, and jalapenos. Everything decently priced for what you get, and the absolute perfect place to eat at 2am!

5 soft tacos for $20 and that included taxes and $2 tip. Such a great deal for what you get. I just asked for them to mix up the meats and sauces as they seemed fit. 3 in me and i am stuffed. Have only had their burritos before and they too are great. Wonderful staff

Quick and delicious service! Lots of options on the menu and friendly staff, open most nights of the week. A clean and covid friendly kitchen is where you walk into this restaurant they serve you and ask what toppings you'd like and promptly package it all up for you. Walk out the back to an open cement courtyard behind the Peterborough square mall and the river and park are just a few hundred feet away.

Best burrito ive ever had in my life it stayed in tact the whole time i was eating it which was amazing. I couldnt finish it all and saved the rest for breakfast and it continued to stay in tact the next morning. This burrito is not only packed with tons of amazing flavor but is reliable in its structural integrity. The burrito will not fail you!!!!! :D

Worst experience ever.. I live in north york, and visited my friends in Peterborough last Saturday. I went to this restaurant with my boyfriend . First of all, the short guy (looked like a trainee) was eating in the restaurant while preparing orders which is so disgusting. Apart from this, his customer service skills are below average (a teenager can do better customer service). He misbehaved and has no manners how to treat customers.

Selfish owner and doesn’t know how to talk to customers. I was waiting for the doordash order, after 40 minutes when i asked for my order the owner replied that he will make it after 10-20 minutes and when i asked why so, then he said its my restaurant who are you to question me. He rudely said to cancel the order and get out from my restaurant. The cook (tall guy) said that we dont work for you and started abusing. This scenario wasn’t the first time to happen with me or with other delivery drivers or even the customers. Respect must be given to everyone under his service. The guy used to do deliveries in a hummer or a pickup for doordash/skip the dishes.

This place is AMAZING! The food is delicious and the service is even better! Super friendly staff and very tasteful food! Perfect place to fulfill your late night cravings! If you haven’t tried this place yet, you MUST!

Terrible service in the city the guy who own the restaurant (short Guy) doesn’t know how to speak with customers specially with Asian food delivery guys i went for my take out order as normal when i saw his behaviour with the international students. Also i had to wait a lot for my order even though it was take out and they jus ignored me. These are the scammer people. Don’t know how they got 4 star rating on google.

We ordered lunch at work, a young guy answered the phone and was all over the place the whole place and swearing the whole time I was placing my order. The food gets here and not one single thing is marked. We have 5 different orders. The 2 taco salads we ordered were both a small pile of mush and nothing was right about it. I call back and he answers “hello?!” I tell him the situation and he says “well I’m working alone and doing the best I can” he couldn’t find a marker to put our names on the order. And he messed up the majority of it. He was very rude and didn’t seem to care at all. He says “I can just give you a discount next time you order. Bye!” So so unimpressed and beyond frustrated. First of all, why would they have one kid working alone on a Saturday when it’s that busy? Secondly, he should not be working there in the first place. No manners or business etiquette. We will certainly not be ordering from you anymore. And we will definitely be spreading the word about this horrible service.

Had el Camino for lunch today! Drove out of the way just to get it and we are so happy! Quesadilla is awesome and the burrito too! So much food for the price, and the staff in there today was super knowledgeable and made our day!

Probably the best place for burritos and nachos. They are huge and delicious. Would recommend 10/10.

Took an hour and a half to get to my house up the street, food is cold, I call back and get told it’s the weather and that the driver had a lot of delivery’s and that there’s nothing they can do about it, why is it the customers problem that the driver has a lot of delivery’s? Can you not afford proper delivery bags? That is some really terrible service

Went in one night, the manager rushed our order and the burrito was made horribly. Was my first experienced and was very disappointed.

Best Place in Town to get real Mexican Food. The service ain't bad either.

Just called in for a deliver order, the employee who answered the phone was very nice and helpful. He sat on the other end without interrupting while we deliberated what we wanted on our burritos, he even offered up some help. Great service :)

Food is good and have had it often . But the service isn't good . called for over an hour straight and finally after the phone was picked up he didn't want to take the rest of the order and wanted to call us back! We refused and asked him kindly to please take the rest of our order since it took so long to get him to answer. This made us feel like our service wasn't important to him .He was short with us oh the phone . I understand that Saturdays are busy but the proper amount of staff should be on shift to prevent this problem .

Had the pulled pork today. Not sure why, just wasn't good. Seemed old. I've had El caminos before and it was way better then this time around!

In store service is always fantastic. When it comes to delivery, not so much. Made an order over an hour ago and am still awaiting it to arrive. Possibly hire more people for delivery, could have gone to the store to get my order and been back in the time it took to get through with the call, let alone the time I've been waiting for the food to arrive :P

Amazing food n was delivered in tens minutes that's unheard of good jobs guys

This place is shit. There was 3 of us all placing 3 separate orders for delivery all to the SAME place. We each got our total and were told that one of us would need to pay the 5$ delivery fee, whatever. Then about 15 minutes later, we get a call back saying that the delivery guy says that we all need to pay a 5$ delivery fee...... to the SAME FUCKING PLACE. We were wondering why but the guy on the phone didn't even know why, but we just paid it anyways because we were hungry. Then we get another call back saying that we need to go outside to the back of our apartment building to pick up the food and sign for it... how the fuck is that delivery. Once we got to the car we were told he needed to see our school ID, which we were never told to bring with us.. but he ignored it and gave us the food anyways. MORAL OF THE STORY, THE FOOD IS FUCKING BABY BARF GARBAGE. I WOULDN'T EVEN FEED IT TO MY DOG. We ordered a chicken quesadilla- which the meat was definitely not chicken, a chicken and beef burrito (once again no chicken, and just plain disgusting), and 3 tacos that broke in half as soon as they were touched because they were so soggy. Don't order from this place- its disgusting and overpriced. Fuck.

Superbly friendly staff and amazing food. My daughter loved the Chicken Quesadilla and I ordered super tacos, which were soft with crunchy shells. Wonderfully done!

The best burritos and best tacos money can buy. This is a busy little spot but the food is never disappointing. When it first opened it had no competition around and I returned to the town and the burritos are still very delicious! Two thumb up!

How does this place have 4 stars, seriously?<br/>The first experience with el Caminos was just a phone call, because we were never called back. We called to place an order, the guy on the phone said he would call back and never did. <br/>We thought we would try again a few months later. Low and behold, same guy as last time answers the phone and again says he will call back. This time he did, unfortunately for us. First off he was extremely rude...cutting me off mid sentence, very rushed and with a clear attitude. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt and figured el Caminos must be very busy. Now I don't see how so.<br/>We ordered two quesadillas (for me and my daughter) and one burrito. <br/>Both quesadillas had half the toppings that were listed on the menu, burnt and clearly thrown together. The lettuce was pretty well black, very very bad. <br/>The burrito was, well, a nightmare. My husband is far from picky but could not get past the old lettuce, the fact that it was filled with cilantro when we indicated "no cilantro" and dripping with sauce. That's not as bad though as when he got to half the burrito and FOUND A CURLY BLACK HAIR!!! <br/>At this point we tossed the food in the trash can and may as well have lit the 30 we paid on fire. <br/>We thought about calling back but because of the guys attitude, we figured we would end up more upset and decided to write a review instead. Hopefully saving people from wasting their money. <br/>In conclusion, go to dantes LOL you would never have an experience like this there. <br/>

Simply the best burritos in town. Very friendly staff, fully fulfilling meals at great prices. Chicken burritos are my favorite. Their caminos sauce is purely magical. It goes well with pretty much anything.

Deliciously satisfying burritos. They offer a variety of meats that include chicken, ground beef, pulled pork and beef brisket and a variety of sauces as well. the staff even recommend complementing sauces for your choice of meat, one thing that lacks at the other burrito places in town. Fast and friendly customer service, they make first timers feel at home i must say having been a first timer myself. They guided me perfectly on how to build my burrito and it was a fully satisfying experience. Thank you El Caminos !

Their Tacos are my favorite. 5 softshell is more plenty to feed this big eater. i usually get 2 beef brisket and 3 chicken, and ask the server to play Russian roulette with the habanero sauce. <br/>They have a good selection of fillings and sauces and they dont skimp on anything.<br/>Their burritos are definitely great and so are their super nachos.

Favourite burritos in town. The cheapest and most delicious burritos in town. While Dantes and Jimmy Guacos have their perks, El Caminos is my favourite overall. They're open late every day so it's a great place to stop in for some quick tacos. One of my go-to places on a student budget. The service is fast and friendly too :) No complaints.

First time last time. Tried this place for the first time on July 31st, 2013. The service was great and the server was fantastic, wish I could remember her name. That was as good as it gets. The food tasted pretty much the same as when I make burritos at home, decent but not restaurant quality. I heard good things about this place, but it's just ok.

Awesome totally . @ faithntrustpixieddust I sometimes gluten free taco shells which are hard taco shells. Some staff are not knowledgeable about that but I inquired with the owner. Also all chips cost the same so no cutting corners there. They stopped using veggie sticks chips last year.I also asked if anything was frozen and was told they don't have a freezer all the meats are brought in fresh. Great and filling Chicken and Beef Burrito.

Some changes are not so great. It looks like I left the last comment so sorry if it seems like I'm just griping but there have been more changes at what was a great restaurant that are not good. I took a friend last week who has a gluten allergy because they have gluten free tortillas except now they don't. Bad move. I also noticed that they no longer use the colored tortillas strips on the salad. They just crush regular tortillas in their hands!?! Looks like the new owner is trying to cut corners but its going to cost him in the end. El Camino's has always offered great food, made with fresh ingredients, but the new owner seems to be turning staff over like crazy. What's up with that? Loretta was great! Hopefully the new owners get sorted out soon - the new girl (she's there every day, I think) should stay, the grumpy, personality-less guys should go. Just sayin'.

Customer service is usually stellar, and food is usually wonderful. We've been having lunch here at least once a week for a couple years now. <br/><br/>We likely won't be back. <br/><br/>Here's why;<br/><br/>This is now the third time (in a row) that they don't have any guacamole ready. It really is the best part of the meal....it's what both of us crave. We're tired of the excuses (one young man was downright rude) and disappointments, so we're going to start exploring other options. There's a Jimmy Guaco's opening across the street which might be a possibility.

Best in Peterborough. Granted I've only had the Burrittos the food is ALWAYS fresh and yummi.. lots of variety.. the staff is always cheerful and pleasant.. I go here every chance I get.. it's very affordable..

VEGAN FRIENdLY!. I love it! I keep going back and never get tired of it. I just get the bean and cheese minus the cheese and tell them I are vegan and they actually know what is in their food unlike many fast food places so the know all the toppings/sauces you can have and I just get everything. AMAZING!!! I love me a burrito. Have yet to try their tacos. Super excited.

I go here quite often whether it's on my lunch break, for a quick dinner with my husband, or a late night indulgence after the pub. I keep going back 'cause the food is always good, the only thing that's hit-or-miss is the staff. Sometimes there's some really fun and friendly guys working there and sometimes there's some miserable young chicks who look annoyed by u walking in...

Chicken burrito was tasty and great value. Service was friendly and helpful. But there wasn't much room to eat in the restaurant. I'll be back.

Went to peterborough with my bf for a weekend getaway n to visit friends. We were introduced to el caminos we abosolutely fell in love with the food staff was friendly n service was fast. Everything was amazing! We only wish that El Caminos would be open here in Montreal they would make a killing here!!!!

Wow amazing !!! Had three burritos One beef one chicken and one chicken with pulled pork. Two were large and one medium size. My two teenaged boys were stuffed and so was I. We all loved It and will be back again soon for more Mmmmmm! Great staff as well , very friendly and helpful

SOO FULLL!!!!. Just tried El Caminos for the first time... Very Very good!! The only thing wrong is the fact that I have waited this long to try it out! My new quick dinner and after the bar eats!! Definitly Recommend trying it out! I think my burrito weighed over a pound!

Great food...Great People. This has quickly become a favorite for my wife and I. Truth be told I've only ever had burritos but everything was delicious and fresh.<br/><br/>Everything from the chicken, beef brisket and home made habanero sauce was unbelievably good.<br/><br/>On top of the food being really, really good, the people who work there are great too.<br/><br/>I would, and have, suggest El Camino's to anyone I know.
