Was there for St. Patrick's Day. Wait staff were super friendly, nice, professional, and quick dispite being so busy. My wife very much enjoyed her club sandwich.
I don't know who their stew master is, but whoever it is they make a mean Irish Stew. Couldn't be better. I like to think I make a good stew, but they put me to shame. Perfect, hints of rosemary, with nice bread. Doing the simple things very good is a great sign for a restaurant in my opinion! Looking forward to the Black Horse again in the future.

I have been enjoying this local Pub for many years now. I have appreciated it even more since the outbreak of Covid (unfortunately). Every once in a while my husband has been sweet enough to want to give me a break from cooking and I always choose a local restaurant to order from. I can’t wait until we are able to sit in again because as great as the food is, the atmosphere is also amazing!

Went for a lovely lunch yesterday on the patio. I ordered the whiskey burger with a side of Greek salad. It was so delicious that I could have eaten a second one right away.

Pleasantly surprised! We went mid afternoon so it was quiet. But service was friendly and fast, food was delicious and not just your standard pub fare.

Food was very good, beef was particularly tasty and fries were fresh cut. Bangers and mash also very good but a small potion. Unfortunately a very loud group of parents with a girls hockey club had no consideration for the rest of diners. At one point reaching across our table while I was still sitting there.(no fault of restaurant). Decor was pub like as you would predict, a little rough some repairs needed (my chair was broken and table wobbly). Waitress was overrun due to large group we had to cancel dessert course or we would be late for appointment. They also ran out of fish and apple crisp. Off for a busy Friday night.

Live music 7 days a week, great food, friendly staff, a super owner Ray Kapoor, and his lovely wife Nancy Kerr. The Black Horse is welcoming, and never has a cover! Any night of the week you will find a lovely mix of locals having a great time enjoying a meal and a beverage, and listening to good live music.

Have been twice now and enjoyed both visits. The staff was excellent (especially the bartender - Kaya) - very attentive and friendly, and the food was great. Loved the entertainment as well! Would definitely recommend a trip to the Black Horse!

I had an early dinner at the Black Horse recently with three of my children before the live bands started. I had a special dietary request that was met without any issue. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. I would like to go back with more adult company next time and hopefully catch some of the music. Keep up the good work!

the sign says it all...Friendliest bar and it is true. Sat on the patio, wonderful place to people watch. Good service, reasonable prices for drinks did not eat this time may be next time.

The Christmas season is not really a fair time to give a review however we have been there many times and it's always been good. It's a very busy place so if you don't like a lot of people then don't go there. Good food, good music!!
