Review Hoshi Restaurant - Peterborough

Yummy eats! Good quality fish. Good lunch selection. Though once tried to go 30 minutes after opening and no one was there.

Picked up 3 different rolls and soup for take out. Great service, the sushi was well made with great ingredients. High quality and very tasty and full of flavor. Will definitely be back.

I ordered some takeout for dinner last Sunday. While ordering I had to ask a couple of times the total and was told the cash register was not working. They gave me an approximate total which was within a couple of cent from what I had calculated since I had the menu on hand. I knew there was a 4-6 dollars charge for delivery which was fine even if they did not mentioned it. When my order came to my door it was over $10.00 more than what they had told me and I was also surprised to see a receipt from the cash register that was not working. My rolls were not only overcharged but were also very small compared to what I usually am accustom to and there was not salad with my order. However there was a small mushy noodle dish on the house. This is the second time I'm very unhappy with my order at this restaurant and will not be going again. It seems ok when you eat there but takeout if you can get an answer on the phone is not great.

Love it! I've never had a bad dish here. The service can sometimes be a little slow when they're busy, but the ambiance is comfortable and the staff is friendly and accomodating. If you're in Peterborough, this or the one in East City are the best options, hands down.

I have been going to this restaurant for over 3 years now. Their service is fast and they have never gotten any of my orders wrong (I am very specific about what I want)! This is definitely the best place to get sushi in Peterborough. The fish is always fresh and the service is excellent.

They're so friendly and the food tastes great. They even recommended a combo that saved me money. I also like the music they play and the little booths on the side. The space is also big enough for a fairly large group of you probably reserve ahead of time.

The only place in town that I know of that sells Gamjatang (pork bone soup) in Peterborough. Very delicious! They used to have one of the best sushi chef in town, but he isn't there anymore. So the sushi isn't different from most other places. I'm used to all you can eat places, so I find this place a little expensive.

Good food. Reasonable prices. Waitress was obviously new and a bit slow. Management/owner was atrociously rude (in front of customers) helping new server figure put how to properly split the bill at the cash.
