Review Montana's Cookhouse - Peterborough

I always go for the all you can eat ribs Wed for years now. They do have great ribs usually. Today the ribs came so dry and the baked potato was hard and way underdone. Manager was so fast amd fixed it right away. New set of ribs were perfect and fall of the bone. Potato was amazing as well. She also gave me 25% off. I did not expect such great service. Happy customer here. I will be back for more.

Great service. Nicole was our waitress. She was absolutely lovely. Food was delicious. It was my husband's 65th bday. They brought a dessert, had him wear moose antlers and sung their bday song. Great time.

This is first time I went to this Montana's and its the first time that Montana's disappointed me.... I had such a hard, trying disappointing, personal day and thought that I would end it off with an awesome steak as a treat to lighten things up. (I Didn't feel like crying all day, now I will cover up under a blanket and do just that!) I didn't think my meal would remind me that things can actually get worse... Steak(med-well) was undercut and bloodied, like a punch in the face.(first bite was OK so I didn't say anything.) The beans looked worse than the day I had, sad, soggy, and soupy. Fries from the grocery store freezer were soggy, barely cooked, shoestrings that I probably could have actually used to tie my shoes. Even though the shrimp was already dead, they dont need to show me what a dreary lifeless end looks like.... Corn bread was edible , and my long island iced tea was actually pretty good, but it couldn't revive anything on my plate.... Alcohol, helping white people dance, and I am not even white! But that was it today The personal service itself was OK, no issues there, and no I didnt have to pay.

Staff is friendly whether they're on the phone or front door of the restaurant. Sports on at every angle. Clean seating areas; ie the bar & dining area. Great deal for kids to dine one night of the week.. All you can eat rib's another night. Lots of parking. Can't wait to see what it's like on the patio!

My review does not reflect the quality of food, as we didn't have any. Upon walking through the front doors, the greeters made me feel like I was the loser kid in high school again, it seemed like the staff was more annoyed that we were there more than anything. The waiter didn't seem like he wanted to be there. Maybe I wasn't dressed nice enough? Anyways, we left before ordering drinks, went somewhere else, and had a great dining experience.

Haven't been in awhile. Had the triple lunch special. Soup was excellent. Really enjoyed the chicken wrap. The salad was a little on the salty. Side note overall a great lunch.

Overall I wasn't that satisfied. They place was clean and the service was friendly and prompt but overall, as a group, we were not that satisfied. The food was a little on the cold side and the chicken breading was slightly burnt and hard to chew. Not so much as to not eat their again but it will definitely not be our first choice. If I could make a little but important suggestion, keeping a fresh pot of coffee brewing would go along ways. Thanks for lunch, see you again, just not soon.

Had great meal here after our Provincial bowling tournament! Kids loved their meals and we had great hot wings! Service was excellent. Thanks
