Review Marty Moo's - Peterborough

We happened on this place by accident. I took a wrong turn and drove into the parking lot to turn around. We decided to make a lunch out of it. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food was comforting and the hostess/server was very friendly and pleasant. I’m sure to visit again if my travels take me through here again and maybe even try the foot long hot dog challenge 👍😎

This place is a bit of a throwback... its old..er.. but clean and the food is something of a home cooked feel to it. Nothing fancy, really something you would or could do at home. its good and filling and service is good as well.

My husband and I happened to pass this place and decided to call in for take out. This has been the best food we have received in a very long time. Well worth the money. Everything tastes so fresh. A bonus was that the ladies seemed friendly and brought the food out to the car for us. We will for sure be back. My hubby wants to try the hot dog challenge as his nickname is “hotdog” Delicious !!

Friendly service, our server was fairly new but she was an absolute delight and worked well with our familys joking dynamic. It was our first time at a restaurant and it was comforting to see they are constantly cleaning trying to keep you safe during these tough covid times. Great food for a great price. Was really impressed with the quality of the food and you would not expect it by looking at it. Everyone loved their meals.

Thought we'd check out this place after visiting the Reptile/Dinosaur park. We got here around 11:40 AM. Service: Out waitress was incredibly friendly and was helpful in telling us what they were known for (Chicken, Ribs, Pot Pie). Cleanliness: Very clean patio that was wiped down before we sat down. Inside seemed clean and the washrooms were acceptable. Food: This is where it all kinda fell apart. I got ribs as I was told there would be a THIRTY FIVE minute wait for Pot Pie. A full rack cost about $25, $29 with Onion Rings. The ribs were very plain, the type of ribs you get at Swiss Chalet, only without the charcoal char. The onion rings were incredibly greasy (which I get is what you expect from rings, but think of a more extreme example). Fish and Chips were from frozen and very bland. The Kids Kraft Dinner and Chicken Fingers were fine, but we got the feeling that the KD was microwaved. Not sure why this place was rated so well.

I was told about this place and that the pot pies were excellent. I was impressed about the size of it but, there was no flavor to it. You need to taste test to see if you can taste the chicken flavor in the gravy But, I would go again.

Our waitress was amazing. She was very friendly, courteous and kind. The food was excellent. See you next Birthday Lunch.

Excellent wrap and soup..if you want a chicken pie it takes 35 min to bake...next time I'll order ahead...I Hear they are fantastic...highly recommend

Vegetarians rejoice! Marty mood have done us right with their extra menu of yummy and satisfying vegetarian options. I’d does not matter what you’re in the mood for as they have a amazing kale salad with all the fixings or if you want comfort food go for their yummy rice bowl. This place is on my first choice list for nights out. Thank you Marty moos. Keep up the yummy choices Also enjoy one of the many desert options �

Was looking for a mom and pops style restaurant...this was amazing...friendly waitresses, amazing food (had the burger and the rice bowl)...definitely on our top ten for Peterborough!! But needs better signage on the main road...found it advertised on a bulletin board and thought hey....why not! Did not regret the decision!!

Dropped in to have a late lunch with friends and had a lovely experience! Cute patio area, and friendly staff. Food was delicious (try the buttertart for dessert!!) Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Not sure why a senior citizen wasn’t allowed to order from the kids menu. She ended up leaving half of it because she couldn’t eat it all. If we had have known we would have went somewhere else. Lesson learned.

Have been there three times and loved it each time . Great food friendly service. Nice atmosphere. Very busy at the supper hour but worth the wait.

Very busy, no empty tables...they got us seated as soon as they could, we didn't mind waiting...food was great, waitress Michelle worked very hard keeping our glasses filled and asking how everything was.

Stopped in for take out during our 6 hour drive. They were very friendly, the food was fast and delicious! We will be definitely stopping by again on our way back!
