Review Riley's Pub - Peterborough

Nice atmosphere, average service. Friendly waitress but not that attentive. The food was standard bar/ pub food, but everything was good with large portions. Nice clean restaurant, Bathroom accessible through the Junction next door. The roof top patio looked nice from street level, but was not open today.

Always a delicious time. Good food, good value and good atmosphere. With the added bonus of having a pool hall and nightclub attached. I come often and always leave very full and happy. Very polite and attentive service and this time was no different. For dinner, I had the appetizer that can't be beat, the Snakebites. Which are crispy, and spicy chicken chunks. For the main, Pulled Pork Burger, which is a standard burger topped with yummy and creamy pulled pork on your choice of 3 types of bun. Paired with lattace fries, that comes with onion dip. Top it off with a tasty Ruby Relaxer.

What an amazing dinner out with my family this evening! The food was absolutely amazing but our server was really the best! He was incredibly attentive, kind and took great care of us! Even making sure he knew the easiest route out as it was very busy for my visually impaired son! Even the manager popped by to make sure everything was great! THIS is what we have been missing for two years! Thank you Riley's for a perfect night! See you again next time :)

Atmosphere is fun. Lots of tv screens with various sports games playing. Food was ok. Not a high end restaurant but seems consistent. Service is excellent. We had the Santa Fe and souvlaki wraps with sweet potato fries.

Great to be back out and enjoying life again and seeing businesses back to normal. We had the wings with Riley's sauce and it was amazing. It's all in the sauce. Also had the Married salad which I never had before and it was amazing too! After dinner we went to the other side to play some pool. Great place, great atmosphere equals a great time. Thanks Riley's foray great night out. By the way I'm from Toronto.

Good place but service could be better. We had hard time getting attention of the server. Maybe it was too busy or short of staff or they just ignored us🤷. We ordered drink for 3 times and got served twice only! She forgot to give us our order! And same drinks tasted different every time😂

Ordered takeout, service was fast meals were great! Only 1 issue, my husband's hamburger was pure red inside, he was not impressed!! We like our burgers fully cooked as we assume restaurants are required to cook ground beef fully!! That is the reason I rated them 4 star, otherwise it would have been a 5 star rating!!

Super happy with our take out meals from Riley's Pub. First, the meals were great! All the meal components came in separate containers to help avoid mixing hot and cold items. Would recommend! We will be coming back for sure.

Went a few weeks back and had dreadful service and was given regular pop instead of diet (I am Type 1 Diabetic- when your pancreas Does not work at all and has to be controlled through insulin at diagnosis). I had asked numerous times if it was in fact diet because I was getting sicker by the minute even after numerous injections of insulin. I had emailed Jim (manager? GM? owner?) just to let him know what had happened. I didn't ask for a refund or for anything other than to spread awareness to this disease so it doesn't happen to someone else. His response back was SO professional and friendly. He offered me a $50 gift card to say how sorry he was. I accepted his offer as I wanted to go back and be able to say I had a great experience and that I did. Our server Reilly was so on top of things and so friendly. She didn't get annoyed when I had asked if the pop was diet and understood my paranoia about ordering pop in the first place. She made sure to always check in on us and was prompt to any request. Although her section was busy, she never made it seem like she was rushing us out. I will 100% vow to anyone that it is a great place to go and with great staff. From Jim, to our lovely server, it was a pleasurable dining experience compared to our first :)

Normally I like Riley’s but now that I have sensitivities and allergies I have found it hard to eat there. Having gluten free wraps, buns or pastas aren’t that hard and a common thing to have nowadays.. and on wing nights it’s hard to find food since wings are breaded.. any change non-breaded wings will be a thing, ever? Also, 13.99 for a veggie platter and an additional 3.99 for hummus is ridiculous when burgers cost the same. Just saying.

My Favourite restaurant in town! (other than The Keg). If Riley's substitutions weren't so pricey (ie sweet potato fries for regular fries), if they had delivery and if their takeout orders weren't often wrong (however, they do compensate for their mistakes), I would definitely give them 5 stars. Their sweet potatoes fries and dip are the best in town! And I love their rooftop patio! Although the patio needs to be bigger and they need an organized system for waiting to be seated when all the tables are filled. There is no numbered system so people who have been waiting for a table often get overlooked and other people who just walk in take it instead. Otherwise, the food is awesome, portions are great and it's a nice atmosphere.

Food was ok. Service was BAD! I asked for a cup of tea and the waitress told me that she would have to go all the way back and make it herself so it would take a while!! I got water instead. It was a busy evening so I understand having to wait for our meal but the waitress didn't even once come to our table to refresh our drinks or assure us that our food was coming nor did she come and check with us once we got our meal. Really disappointed in the service here!

Fantastic service. The best fish and chips I’ve had since I was in Belfast NI two years ago. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Went to patio and staff from PRHC were treated terrible. None of this group will ever go back. They would not accommodate our group and the staff were very rude. I will never go back.

Terrible service and rude waitress, when talking to the manager he refused to give us the name of the server, was being uncooperative and talking down to the friend I went with. Very unprofessional and when we asked for an apology from the waitress she refused to talk to us. She was shorter, Middle Aged woman (probably late 40s) with straight brown hair. Unbelievable how bad the service and management was here, would only recommend to stay away from this restaurant.

Riley's is my go to. Great food and usually good service. There are a very small number of servers that I do find rude (i.e. sighing, eye rolling etc). But overall the majority of the servers are very friendly. I've never had any problem with my food.

There's no better place for atmosphere combined with food quality and service. Prices are more then fair for generous portions and plenty of options for draught beer on tap.

Great food & service....pretty extensive menu too!!!!.....highly recommended.....play pool before dining or have drinks while watching sports

Always have a great time here food is great and prices are reasonable and nice portions staff are always friendly towards us ...never had a bad experience even our guest that came to our engagement party enjoyed the atmosphere.

Wings were good, service is shit, they didn't want to give us a extra chair to sit, they literally throw the food at us when serving, so we better left the place. I know we are not from around here but you guys should not be that rude. If you are a turist I would NOT recomend the place.

Great service and the food was amazing. You have to get the Lattice fries with your order, even if you don't usually eat fries.

Went for my birthday. Service was great and food was great. Our waiter checked on us a few times was super friendly.

Excellent staff had to wait for a table, 10 min. But didn't know it was wing night. Bartender 5 stars waiter 5 stars and the steaks were cook the way we wanted. A must place to visit.

The food is fantastic an the staff very friendly. However the service was very slow. May I suggest you get the draught lines cleaned as my Mill Street Organic tasted like skunky OV.

Food is good but not letting you take your uneaten food home because it is "half price" is the most ridiculous thing I've ever been told. They would rather through out in trash then let the customer who paid for it take it home...Lost my business as of today.

No service ! Bad experience Ask to go on The terrasse, they did not want to serv us because we are french canadian. Wanted to spend money, we are on holiday ! Worst place ever.

The double bacon cheeseburger is no joke. Be prepared for a heart attack on a plate. So good.

Good food for good prices. BUT!!! On two separate events we have been invited to they have double booked or lost reservations. The first time we could excuse, but 2 separate sets of reservations by 2 different groups 3 months apart having been lost or double booked is not a good sign. I would suggest that if you're just going for dinner, it will be great. But don't book reservations for a group - you'll reserve at your own risk.

Been going here for a long time. Great prices, great food, friendly service. My favorite place to go.

The food is always great at Riley's! And the service is top notch, always friendly and helpful! =)
