I had an extremely positive experience at this restaurant a couple weeks ago. The staff were all very welcoming and customer service was excellent. Our food was all delicious and for myself the unique selection sets it apart from other restaurants in Peterborough. Though the portions were small (the nature of the menu encourages one to order multiple dishes) I found the pricing fair.
I would highly recommend others to try this place if they haven't already!
I absolutely LOVE this restaurant! The food is always top notch, the service is incredible, and the new Queen Street location is beautiful. In a city that has so many great food options, this is one of the very best. Highly recommend this local gem.
My husband and I went to this Restaurant on Friday Night and sat out on the patio as it was a lovely evening. We were down from Ottawa moving our daughter. They started us off with olives and pearl onions to munch on and followed it up with the most amazing olive oil and crusty bread. We ordered from their Tapas menu, we had the oyster mushrooms, shrimp and a pork dishes, everything was cooked to perfection, the seasoning was so tasty, the service was exceptional. The owners are the nices people you could ever meet. I would highly recommend this restaurant, we will be going back every time we visit our daughter. Thanks for a wonderful evening, can't wait to come back!
This restaurant is really a gem! We especially loved the authenticity of the olive oil from the owner's family farm in Spain and his fresh Peterborough garden veggies. Getting 'half' size plates so we could mix and match more options into our meal was a great idea we're happy the owner suggested! Will have to come back to try the new menu soon :)
Fresh Dreams is a *wonderful* restaurant and a very welcome addition to Peterborough's downtown. My partner and I have eaten there a few times now and cannot say enough about either the delicious food or the impeccable service. The owners and staff remember us every time we show up and treat us like welcomed guests rather than customers. The pricing is extremely reasonable for what you get. If you go on a Wednesday or Saturday, be sure to order the paella! It's fantastic!
Fresh Dreams are what dreams are made of! The service was beyond friendly. My parents and I were treated like royalty. We were treated to a sample of their special and they brought us fans since we were outside and it was incredibly hot out. The Melon & Cucumber soups were so unique and delicious. The sandwiches were out of this world. Salmon & Dill, Peameal & Bree and their club were bursting with flavours.
Highly recommend to everyone. Their menu caters to vegetarians, vegans and meat eaters.

What an absolutely wonderful experience in every way! The owners were delightful - such hospitality! The patio was relaxing and pleasant. The food was exceptionally fresh, authentic and delicious. We wish we lived closer - we would return regularly. They will exceed your expectations!
There is a reason that this restaurant has so many great reviews...I organized a graduation celebration for my sister here and everything from the communication, organization, service and food was ABOVE and BEYOND. This husband wife and son team blew our family out of the water with their knowledge and incredible service. The paella was probably my favorite, but I loved everything from the asparagus, focaccia bread, peameal bacon, potatoes, stuffed sweet peppers and cake. Stop reading the reviews and go experience this restaurant for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
The service is best there is and food is to die for!!! They accepted to let us in though we showed up late.
The chef was super nice to our kids, she came in person to give them some puzzles to solve and they earned a free dessert. She also took their customized orders and made them funny face on plate with the food.
Looking for a hidden gem? Intimate, relaxing…an experience. Don’t be fooled by the front facade…there is a warm and inviting atmosphere inside. The food (esp the Tapas of course) and service are worth the drive to Peterborough. I will be back…and so will you.

AMAZING!! Oh my god. I’m from out of town and saw the amazing reviews and thought I had to try just seeing the high reviews and all, and man was that a great decision. I know they don’t have a menu online, it’s because they change it so often because the ingredients they use are so fresh! I came just before they were opening for the evening and I felt bad but I just finished a long day at work and just wanted food before going back to my hotel so I walked in and they were so welcoming and sweet. I had to wait for the food because she was just prepping and making it. They were so welcoming and sweet and they gave me a small sample of the food I was ordering and I’m just drooling!! I enjoyed a glass of wine while I waited. Amazing. The chef knew I was waiting and she showed me my dish (pic) before she packed it away for me. I wish I lived closer so I could come here all the time. Perfection! Thank you for your kindness and hospitality, I look forward to coming back here in the future! Everyone needs to come here and try it.
First time at Fresh Dreams with my two daughters and we had such an awesome experience. The owners were so attentive and the food choices were not only delicious but the assortment of spices only accented each dish. Service was amazing and I would highly recommend. This is my hands down favourite restaurant. The food and service are sublime. Everything I have tried here has been delicious but it's the incredible service that really makes the experience so special. Best paella 🥘 and lovely ambiance. I recommend this wonderful gem to all
