The server wasn’t friendly or welcoming at all. The portions were so minuscule for the price you pay. I asked for sweet and sour sauce on my chicken balls, and this guy put this much on every single one. Cheap *ss place, like you really can’t afford to make more sauce???? It’s sauce. The food tasted okay but for the portion and what I paid, nah, you get a 1-star. Get better employees and get better portions or lower your prices. :)

Thought I would stop by and try out the Sizzling Rice as I'm pretty sure they've been struggling like many of the small takeouts due to covid. Food proportions is OK and when I originally asked the lady at the front to clarify if the 2 piece with 1 meat item means 3 items in total, but completely ignored my question and kept saying 2 piece or 3 piece. I understand that it's loud in the back, but at least she should try to offer a decent cs.
You're better off going to A&W from across instead.
Food: Chow-mein: 3/10; Red pork: 7/10
Service: 1/10

The food is average. The portion size you get for the price you pay is disappointing. If you want to walk away hungry this would be the place to go. I don’t normally like to give negative reviews but I was just so disappointed.

Only get 1 star just so I can comment.
I love hitting the Food Courts when I shop, Capilano Mall is one of my favourites.
When in Penticton I have given Sizzlig Rice in Cherry Lane many many chances.
Ordering the 5 choice combo usually means you want 5 of the six items available.
Every choice looks like if you take it they will be sold out, I have noticed they stir the mostly empty trays to "try" to make it look fresh.
My last and final visit was revolting.
The Vegetable rice is dry and the vegetables are obviously western family frozen.
The Chow Mien tastes like its flavoured by cup O noodle chicken soup mix.
The Chop Suey is Hit and Mis
The sweet and sour is actually not bad if its hot.
The sesame chicken , uhm where is the sesame? its deep fried something dressed with some kind of sweet sauce
The spring rolls are 10/ per bag at super store.
The Person at the counter serving your order is usually miserable and very uncaring.
My "LAST"visit was Dec 13 about 2:30.
The food was ALL cold, The Chow Mein tasted like cup o noodle.
The chop Suey was mushy and the Sweet and sour was like jelly.
The only compliment I can give is for the spring rolls; Delicious and crispy
Thank you Presidents Choice.

Decent food, better portions than last time and quick service. I ordered the chicken sweet and sour pork beans rice and chow mein. It cost $12-13 and was very hot while eating.

Try their noodles and spring roll, because I liked that. The lady serving food doesn't have any customer experience at all and doesn't even bother to ask if we need sause or anything... hoping they will improvise in coming days.

Expensive, rude server. Little to nothing on the plate. Do not go.

Best Chinese food in Penticton! Try the sesame chicken % mini spring rolls, they can't be topped.
