The Block 300 Casual Steakhouse was absolutely fabulous - exactly what Penticton needs. Great value for your money. The special tonight was prime rib - which was done perfectly. Our party also had the Block 300 Burger - which was amazing too. Food is comparable to The Keg quality - and about 25 - 33% less.
Party of 4 - so 8 thumbs up! Highly Recommended.

We went for dinner and really enjoyed the food. The lamb burger was awesome, came out perfect. We sat at the bar and had great service. They have an awesome selection of hard liquors including both types of Bumbu rum which is hard to find at any place in Penticton. The decor and atmosphere were a little less than to be desired, very bright, a little plain feeling but the drinks and food made up for it. We will definitely be going back.

Had a wonderful experience. Scallops and prawn appetizers were cooked perfectly and tasty. Steak was juicy and cooked to a perfect medium rare. I was difficult and requested peppercorn sauce. Chef whipped it up even though it wasn't on the menu. Server was very helpful and friendly. We will be back! Thanks!

Overall the experience was not recommendable. Servers were friendly and polite but seemed very overwhelmed. Our food took a very long time to come out and while it was alright it certainly didn’t stand out. Kids complained that the burgers were burnt (they were) and the steak on my wife’s steak and arugula salad was badly charred. Bill had to be corrected 3 times and items on the bill were priced higher than stated on the menu. (Prime rib $33 on menu, $34.50 on the bill). Definitely overpriced for the quality and quantity of food. 5 of our party were still hungry after eating. Not a good sign.

Was so excited to check out this new spot in Penticton and wasn't disappointed. Great staff, service and food was perfect. Dekland was awesome and super knowledgeable. Looking forward to coming back!

We came in the day after they remodeled. The layout is very open and noisy. The restaurant wasn't full but it was still difficult for 4 of us to have a conversation.
Now the food exceeded our expectations. The steaks were beautifully prepared and tender. We all were satisfied with our meal.
We would return.

It is a nice spacious place with very nice servers. I found their food prices too expensive. I had the veggie burger, my husband had the chicken burger with a beer and it was $45 before taxes. Veggie burger was very flat, tasteless and fried. Yuck! The beets served with it were bland and soft. My fries had loads of pepper which I did not like. On the other hand, my husband reallly liked his chicken burger and loves pepper on his fries so he was fine with his meal.

Last evening, my husband and I celebrated our 63rd wedding anniversary at Block 300. First impression: friendly and clean. The service was excellent. The food was prepared and presented to perfection, and was delicious. All in all, we had a wonderful meal and a great experience. Thanks to all who work there. We wish you every success!
