Review The Station Public House - Penticton

Very disappointed in our server. We we’re told happy hour was good for another hour so we could get discount prices till then. So she told us this was last call for happy hour so we decided to have another round then order dinner. When we got our bill I noticed our drinks were very expensive so I asked her why they were so high. She said premium drinks don’t qualify for happy hour and they just raised the prices. We felt we should have been told before hand. We felt very cheated and misinformed. She never offered us anything for her mistake just a sorry about that. Not good enough!!!

Went with a group of friends after floating the river. It was exactly what we needed! Excellent food with great service. The salt and pepper ribs and BBQ burger were to die for! Would definitely recommend, hope to go back soon!

Never fails to please - fantastic food and wait staff. Establishment is always clean and has a great vibe too. Sit inside or out - both equally appealing. Had Korean BBQ wings and gyoza after a golfing afternoon - wow.

Very friendly service. Soup and grilled cheese and both were amazing. Prices were a bit high but I would go back again for the happy hour promos.

I have nothing but good things to say about the staff here, they are wonderful and so was our server Julia, who took care of a group of 6. We were warned that the Ginger Beef Bowl was too spicy so we avoided that. The roasted cauliflower was too hot and salty to the point of inedible. My Buddha salad bowl came with a dressing that was impossibly hot I don't understand why you would pair that dressing with any salad. Szechuan beans too salty. The 3 that ordered hamburgers were happy with their burgers and the fries looked great but they were disappointed the restaurant didn't have the bleu cheese burger from last season.

In town 4 nights, dinner here 3 times. Like the atmosphere, good location, clean surroundings, great staff, love the beer, love the food. Steak sandwich with harissa sauce: superlative. The kolsch is delicious. Save my parking spot for next time we're in Penticton. (Sorry no photos, was busy feasting.)

We went for a couple drinks and dinner. Started with the risotto bombs that were suggested by the server. They were delicious! Went on to have the pork stack (ribs, with vegetables and potato), it was pretty good, the pork was a bit dried out but falling off the bone. There was enough sauce on the ribs to still make them enjoyable. We also had the tuna poke, that was delicious. No complaints there! The atmosphere was comfortable, just don't sit under a TV if you don't want to feel like people are staring at you, as some of the TVs come right down to just above head level. Sports playing on all channels, but easy enough to ignore if you're not into that. The reason they're losing a star is because of our server. She was fantastic to start off with and she slowly got less and less attentive and professional as the night went on. Very distracted by the football game and other coworkers.

Arrived 2 minutes before 8pm on gorgeous Friday night. Turns out kitchen goes to a late night menu after 8pm. Late night menu was very limited. Don't bother coming here for food if your hungry after 7:55.
