*cash only so be prepared!* Great place for lunch sandwiches, panini, and try their tirimisu! Had the Ruben panini, was delicious, takes about 15 minutes to prepare. You can have side of pasta salad or potato salad. Everything made with care and fresh. With the sandwiches, get all the veggies... Includes artichoke, eggplant and lettuce (and maybe more, I forget). Keep in mind, Only three or four small tables inside to eat. (So may have to take out if it's busy)
Heard good things about this place and decided to try it. I tried the 2 meat + 1 meat sandwich. There were plenty of cheeses and meats to choose from. The person helping us was great. She was really helpful in telling us what paired well and even let us try some samples. The sandwich came with veggies, including lettuce, tomato, pickle, eggplant, artichoke, sun dried tomatoes, and pepperoncini. Also you get to choose from hot or sweet mustard. It was about 5.50 or around there for a sandwich. Definitely worth the price. I felt satisfied with this sandwich. Also really friendly service. I would go back if I was in the area again!
What could be better than a perfectly made sandwich with amazing ingredients? I'll tell you... add in amazing people that know their stuff, have genuine smiles and are super friendly and helpful! A true gem!!!
There is no other sandwich like it in Canada, it's the combination of the right bun, condiments (sweet mustard> hot), cheese, meat(go with the regular 4 or the spicy 4 meat) and veggies (get all the veggies). It is amazing, only other comparable sandwich would be a perfect bahn mi from Ba Le sandwich shop in Vancouver.

Been here just once when I was in Penticton. How did I find it? Well first I was just parked on the street when I saw a guy leaving with what potentially looked like the most delicious thing I've ever seen so I asked where he got it and he told me the name (which I unfortunately forgot at the time) later when my roomate and I met up with our friends from penticton and we were deciding where to get lunch they told uis we had to go to this deli and get the best sandwich (two meat one cheese with all the toppings and the sweet mustard dressing Mmmmmm!!!) of our life. When we saw them we laughed because it was exactly what the man on the street had! Later in kelowna when telling my boss about this place he knew exactly what I was talking about! This deli is famous in penticton for good reason! I will go here for that amazing sandwich every time I'm in penticton from now on!
Please do your tastebuds a favor an visit. Best sandwich in the valley if not bc! The staff is great, food is fantastic! Be sure to try the soup in the fall!

Il Vecchio is hands down the best sandwich place in the Okanagan. I have an argument with my significant other because Mediterranean Market in Kelowna also has good sandwiches but you can't beat the veggies at Il Vecchios. Artichoke hearts, sundried tomatoes, eggplant, and the basics of course like lettuce tomato and pickles. Bring cash, you won't be disappointed
