Review Dairy Queen - Parksville

I normally don't post reviews but I was fuming with how I was treated. Extremely rude manager /owner? (the Pakistani gentleman) Order was wrong (charged and gave us for an extra burger meal but not a huge deal since partner can have it tomorrow for lunch) The problem was that there was no sauce for chicken strips and when I phoned, he said that if I ordered it then it was in there and I asked if I could come tomorrow to pick it up since gas is too expensive for an extra trip(ended up going back out right away to get it after his attitude on the phone) and he said that he didn't have time to be on the phone since he had customers (at no time was I ever rude and I was overly friendly since I hate when people are mean to workers at restaurants , also was on the phone for literally seconds) At no time even after going to pick up dip did he apologize and I hated seeing how he spoke with the girl working there. Next time you get a craving for DQ, don't go to Parksville,make the drive to Nanaimo.

Very dirty. Garbage everywhere. We ordered blizzards and the man who took our Order then got blizzards cups out and put his fingers on the inside of our cups while bringing them to the soft serve machine. Ewe. Did he touch my spoon with those dirty fingers too? So gross. Where is the food safety?

It was so dirty I could not even sit down with my family!

The staff suck! Only one who actually cares about customers is Donna the lady that does the cakes so if your going for a cake it’s worth it anything else don’t waste your money!

Food was good but this location doesn't include gravy with their chicken strip meals like most other locations. Its advertised in their menu photo like all other locations that do include it... it would be better advertising to get an image that does not show gravy as being included. Disappointed with this discovery. Staff was polite and respectful.

Had a medium plain cone. Huge serving, excellent on a hot day!

They were not the quickest but the quality is what counts. For under $ 10.00 a 🍔 🍟 drink and a Sundae. You can't go wrong if your looking for fast food.

Long line up. Staff is nice. Food same as always.
