Starbucks was wonderful today! I used my app and other than the wait in the drive thru it was a quick and easy pickup! We each had something different! Dragon Fruit Lemonade Refresher, Green Tea Frapp. Pumpkin Spice Frapp and a Mocha with no whip.
These employees have to deal with some of the most entitled, and rude customers I’ve seen. I was a SB barista for 6 years in Vancouver and each time I go to this location during peak hours I am in awe at the public and how they treat these workers ESPECIALLY in a small community. I know first hand how exhausting it is to have to put up with bs and have to still smile and be kind to keep a paycheque.
To the Parksville public: Use your last two brain cells to have some patience when the store is quite clearly busy. Also, throwing a fit is just embarrassing in your mid 40s and yes I am judging you.
To the staff: Thank you for pushing through this pandemic, and still managing to smile. Your upbeat attitude brings joy to my day each time. :)
