Great stop just a couple of minutes from the highway. Wonderful service and delicious food. Loved the pancakes and crab cake eggs Benedict. Expect locals in a simple and friendly setting.

What a lovely diner! It has a very homey atmosphere, and the staff genuinely are interested in their patrons days/lives. I was only passing through and was treated with such care, not to mention over-hearing how they spoke to the regular customers was really heart warming. I stopped in for breakfast and had the eggs over easy, hash browns (cubed) and toast, plus a pancake on the side. All were delicious! Paired the meal with some orange juice that tasted fresh and local. There is limited seating due to Covid but it’s worth the wait if you’re around there, and if it’s a nice day there are chairs outside for waiting. If I wasn’t passing through I’d make this my local diner.

The place was packed so people must like it. Ordered a sandwich. Very tasty but super small, for $13, I could have eaten 3 or 4. Staff did not ask if I was wanting it to go or to stay. So i ended up having to eat my food out of to-go containers. Impossible to mix salad with dressing when its in a tiny little container. It was very sad salad, had one giant tomato slice and one giant cucumber slice on it and the rest was just iceberg lettuce barely separated. Disappointing as I recently started working in the area, I know now not to come back. My rating was originally 2 stars because it was that bad. But due to covid I put it to 4 stars. I saw other peoples food portions and they looked large, I dont know if I got a smaller portion because it was a “to-go” order even though I never asked for it to be to-go, and no one asked me. No place should sell a $13 sandwich that is portioned for a child. I dont know if this place normally makes you pay first but my plan was tip the other half, after my meal but decided the first $13 I already spent was already a waste. Edit: for owners reply. I did not call in, I ordered right in the store. I had price at $15, I rounded up from $13, changed it. I hope you don’t reviews personally as its just business. I hope someone does not have the same experience i had.
