I am very pleased to say that this Japanese Restaurant is always very consistent with their freshness and quality. The party platter for $25 is the best tasting with a variety of sushi rolls. You can customize if you don’t want raw fish. They actually used cooked salmon and tuna for me. I didn’t even have to ask. The people that work here a joy to see every time I come in they are always smiling and eager to serve you in a fast professional manner.
Exceptional quality food and service. After we asked a couple of questions about the food,, they actually changed their sauce based on our preference from scratch and made to order. Never had this level of service. It made it feel like Grandma's home; food made with love. It sure tasted like it.

Great genuine Japanese food. Everything ordered was tasty and great value. We did takeout and at back at the hotel but they do have seated service as well. Tryout the bbq pork don and chicken karage. Oishi!
UP - Very fresh and flavorful sushi. Miso was spot on and the server was super nice.
DOWN - Not a huge selection of rolls, but they cover their bases. The parking situation is a bit of a puzzle due to its location.
OUT - A nice little spot tucked beside Starbucks and Iris. There's no major signs for the place, but there's plenty of parking behind the Shell station.
So good !!!!!!! There bento boxes are excellent and kids meals are a great deal. Very tasty food and it looks beautiful. Reasonable prices and great staff. Bathrooms were very clean. Parking is shared with Starbucks but if it's to crowded you can park at the shell station back parking lot and walk over. Would highly recommend. Amazing vegan options! My Fiancé and I had the Veggie Sunomono, Veggie roll, Avo Mango roll, Inari pockets, and Tofu Yakisoba noodles. All of our fresh food came out in record time and our server was always there when we needed her! We will be back 😊
My favorite sushi in Pville. Always timely even when busy and always so good. Bento boxes are the best in town.

The bento box, while anemic, tasted pretty good. The miso soup is oddly the only miso i have ever enjoyed, because it tasted more like a chicken/onion soup.
The veggie roll was great (id take out the tomatoe, personally)

Best mom n pop sushi place on this part of the island.service is friendly,fast but remember, good food takes time to prepare. The unagi just melts in your mouth, the rice bowls are scrumptious and savory. Sashimi is well presented and delicious. Been coming to this place for four years now. See you for lunch very soon. Five booths and three tables allow for a small crowd to assemble which they often do. Also loyalty card with discount certificates for future orders. I take all our friends that visit us to this place and have always been more than satisfied. This place is ichibon (number one) sushi in Parksville. Prices moderate and not overpriced.
My go-to sushi restaurant in Parksville. With vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, this place is accommodating to everyone. The food is always delicious and fresh, they are really fast at getting your order to you, and the staff are always so great.
If I could give six stars, I would.
I was pleasantly surprised to find this gem in Parksville! It’s very authentic and reminds me of eateries I’ve visited in Japan. The sashimi is very fresh and reasonably priced. Great bento options and fried appetizers. I’d definitely come back here.
