I enjoy coming here. Staff are always friendly, and obviously get to know a lot of their regulars.
The food is simple, but done well and priced well.
Enjoyed So-cal eggs Benny with poutine hashbrowns, scrambled egg breaky and bacon Denver omlette with the family. Great service, great food.
We went in knowing that they were short-staffed (there was posted signage). We didn't have to wait (even though it was Canada Day and we thought it might be busy after the parade). The staff were lovely and the food came out quick. The only reason for the 3 star is that the food was pretty mediocre
From ordering to getting our food it was 55 minutes. Even short staff I’ve never weighted that long for breakfast in my life. If it’s gonna be a long time to get food at least let your customers know we thought we would be grabbing a quick bite and we had to be somewhere I was half an hour late to.

CRAPPIEST FISH DINNER .. not sure how to explain it.. outside looked over cooked.. inside kind of under and fish was DRY!!..?? Thinking I will start taking pictures of food...burgers were good.. Kids meal pizza not so good... so *FOOD👎* .... 1 STA
Maybe consider putting the whip/strawberry sauce in a seperate container for take out orders?
We love Smitty's! Staff are top notch, very helpful and have done a great job keeping things going well through COVID times and (no fault of their own) staff shortages.
