A rustic and cozy atmosphere yet spacious and welcoming. Reasonably priced menu items and friendly staff. Good climate control on a hot humid day!

Le Louis-Joseph never disappoints. The staff are awesome. Tonight Stephanie was our server, she is such a delight. She certainly made us feel welcome and saw to our every need. I usually order from the table d'hote which is 4 courses with lots of delicious choices. My husband loves the almond crusted Walleye, which he says is the best fish he ever ate. It's a wonderful place to eat and we are never rushed. Thank you again for a wonderful evening.

I’ve been to this place a couple of times. If you understand good quality food, then this is your place! It’s incredibly tasty! They used to have an amazing weekend brunch but now due to Covid they don’t. I’ve also had supper there & it’s amazing food. I’m sure anything you order will be good. Deserts are more like the French, buttery & not too sweet! Not the North American cheep sugar! It’s the real thing 😊

I had a somewhat rushed meal here due to a timing constraint but the Coquille de mer was very nice. Service was fast and friendly. This restaurant had a great reputation and was popular when I was there.

Only stopped for a simple lunch while passing through the town, but the service and food were both excellent.

The meal we had was phenomenal and the service was great. We’ll be back if we ever go back to Montebello.

Went here for brunch. There was a nice mix of breakfast and lunch items. The execution on most of these was better than most brunch buffets - meats were more tender than you'd expect, scrambled eggs were more fluffy. The most impressive aspect about the food was the dessert table that looked straight out of a movie. The service was also very good. I came in thirsty and every time I put down my glass of water, it was refilled almost instantly. My friend was similarly offered refills for his coffee. Overall, I thought this was a great brunch place and worth the $22 it costs.

Stopped for a quiet lunch during the massive winter storm. Weekday lunch is great value. Soup or salad before a sandwich and fries followed by dessert and tea or coffee for $15-17 per person. I had the chicken, my wife had a hamburger, both were delicious. Our son had chicken fingers and fries with fresh green beans and carrots for $8. The waitress who served us was just lovely. Huge selection of included desserts; the coconut pie is delicious. Highly recommended.

Pour la première fois j'allais a ce restaurant hier le 13 février. C'était une superbe soirée, un très bon service merci au serveur Pascal, il m'a fait un cocktail merveilleux. J'y retourne cette été sur la terrasse. Ça vaut le déplacement ! merci encore .. Louise Graham...Hull

Wow c'étais vraiment trop bon. On a pris la table d'hôte et puis tout était PARFAIT! La terrine de bison et canneberge excellente en entrée avec la salade verte, le filet mignon OH MY GOD fondant en bouche.. Il se coupait presque à la fourchette! Et pour finir la MEILLEURE crème brûlé que j'ai mangé!!! Première visite et certainement pas la dernière. Wow très heureuse d'avoir découvert ce magnifique restaurant. Super service et endroit très chaleureux! Jai adoré !

Très bon service et très bonne bouffe

Votre resto as toujours été un de mes endroits préférés où aller manger...Ce soir j'ai eu le plaisir d'être servi par une jolie jeune serveuse aux cheveux noir au nom inconnu (la facture mentionne formation 2). Le service étais exceptionnel tous comme la nourriture d'ailleurs. Merci à toi mademoiselle. Je peux maintenant dire que le Louis-Joseph es vraiment mon restaurant favori.
