Today I went there with my family for dinner and it was our first time there. I can’t describe how much the food was amazing and the atmosphere was great. Our host was James , he was so delight and nice with the kids, he even gave them surprises after dinner. They were so happy and we all enjoyed every bite of our delicious meals. I would give it 10 stars if I can, I highly recommend this place
Great spot to celebrate birthday parties/brunches!!! My daughter turned 10. She wanted to play mini-golf at Putting Edge, but she also wanted to have brunch with her friends. Because of its perfect location (right next to the mini-golf place) we made a reservation at Hard Stones Grill. My daughter and friends had a blast! Since the moment we got into the restaurant, we felt really special and welcomed ! Great service and very reasonable prices!

We actually decided to try the place on a whim prior to our Costco trip and I'm glad we did.
We were promptly greeted and given a booth in the bar. Our server who appeared to be the owner or manager took very great care of us.
Drinks were great. Wife and MIL said the escargot and said it was fantastic. I started with the wings, hot, which as a wing nut impressed me. Nice crisp, hot sauce was a genuine Buffalo, only complaint was I wish they were bigger, but I know it's hard to source roasters these days, that said the quanity was generous.
I had the classic burger for lunch and it was the best damn burger I've had in ages. The quality of the meat was superb.
My wife and MIL had the Buddha bowls, one with tuna one with salmon. They both loved them... twice because the salads are HUGE!
Overall, very impressed with Hard Stones and will visit again next time we're in the Ottawa area.

It was our 1st time there and it was very good. We were celebrating Valentine's Day since we are both working on the 14th. My husband had the 3 meat pizza and loved it. I had the wild salmon and it was delicious. Service was great! Would definately recommend and we will be going back.
Fast, friendly service, restaurant & booth were very clean, waitress was very attentive. I ordered the delicious Caesar Salad & coffee, my daughter ordered a chicken pasta dish & cheesecake for dessert. Every was served promptly and prices were very reasonable. Always enjoy going to Hard Stones.. 😋❤️
I have had dinner at this location multiple times and the experience is great! Friendly and efficient service with a smile. Most recently, Haileigh was always ready to help and was very accommodating to my wife and I. We loved talking with her about our plans for the evening and she gave recommendations for things we could do in the area. By far our favourite server we’ve had here.
The food was great although there could be a bit more steak on the steak sandwich. The wings are spectacular. Overall the service was amazing and the food is very good. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a date spot or somewhere to watch the game.
Update July: Change in management! Amazing difference in service and atmosphere, and STILL 5$ pints and cold bottles of beer! Now actually served with a smile!
Update May 01: LIZ has quit now. Thats 14 staff come and gone in April. Owner must REALLY not care anymore.
I had to wait for tires to be installed at Costco and found this amazing hidden gem in Ottawa.
Karen served us, and it was fantastic from start to finish. The menu selection was a delight to choose from, such fusion and variety. Was a challenge to make a choice.
Ashley is the chef and takes cooking as an art.
Excellent presentation and quality of food.

Great food, service, atmosphere and great covid business restriction adaptation. *Update: Just tried the Steak Frites and was very disappointed. Boring house salad and the steak wasn't nearly as good as the Burito Bowl's steak, this was small, thin,grey and the fat was hard to chew the fries were just ok... I will just get the Burito bowl or a burger next time...
