So this place is kind of ratchet... There were like 10 seats and the tables were all quite dirty. Everything looked very run down and disorganized, including the kitchen space. The service was pretty good, no complaints there. The actual food was decent... I had a chicken pad Thai and my boyfriend got chicken ramen. The pad Thai tasted good but it was really not pad Thai. More like some noodles stir fried with Sriracha and some veggies. The ramen broth tasted decent but again, not like ramen. The noodles they used were flat so not ramen noodles. It was cheap though. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for authentic food, but if you want a cheap bite that tastes decent, it's alright.
Went to this little spot today and the sushi was delicious! The rolls are filling and they certainly don't skimp on the ingredients!
Like it ! Especially the teriyaki chicken ,it is so tasty
This place is in the heart of the Byward Market, is inexpensive, and has really wonderful, authentic sushi!
Delicious!. This was an excellent little restaurant. Simplicity at it's finest!
Affordable, fresh and inexpensive. Being right in the middle of Byward Market also made for an excellent atmosphere.
Great casual sushi in market. There arent enough places like this in Ottawa. A very casual unpretentious reasonably priced sushi joint in Ottawa smack in the middle of the market. No snobbery, no extravagant prices. Just plain old sushi and some noodles.
Fish is fresh. They custom make orders. Tempura shrimp was crispy. No fusion crap rolls that cost a ton.
Would recommend. A place I can go to by myself enjoy a coffee and my copy of the economist.
