This is our neighbourhood chinese takeout and it is quite good, the sliced bbq pork is hit and miss . The chicken balls have good meat to batter ratio. Love the chow mein and general tao. Give it a try.
Tried this restaurant a couple of years ago and really liked the dishes and completely forgot about it.
Tried it again last week and it still tastes great. Had the General Tao's Chicken and Singapore Noodles.
Both were excellent dishes, very tasty. I'll be going back for sure.
Simply Delicious. Tonight we ordered from Ginkgo Garden and were pleasantly surprised. The quality of the ingredients were excellent and the prices were great. We ordered the Veggie Spring rolls, House Specialty Rice, Mixed Veggies with Chicken and Singapore Style Vermicelli. Our order was just over $30.00, which meant that we received a free order of chicken fried rice to accompany our meal. We were ordering food for 3 people and have so much left over. I would say, without a doubt, we could all have at least one additional full meal from the leftovers.
Will order from here again. Delicious!
Great food/value!. This place is awesome and is very good. Their lunch specials are only $8 with tax and come with so much food and a soft drink. The service is always fast and the food is always fresh. The food is very good and they are very kind as well. They always have your order ready within about 10 minutes and there is even a little table there to sit at if you are waiting or want to eat there. Their General Tso Chicken is the best.. they have so many great dishes. The only dish i wasnt crazy for there was the Signapore Vermicelli as I've had better elsewhere.. but otherwise a must try and great price!!
BEST CHINESE FOOD IN ELMVALE. Obviously not all will agree, but when does everyone. If you take into consideration I have an extensive amount of knowledge when it comes to Asian cuisine, you should be confident this is a good review. I'll begin with who ever orders fried rice anything and expects an over abundance of meat, need not feed here or most Chinese restautants. I gave my first tasting at this eating establishment my standard approach to Chinese take out in Canada. Which was ordering, wonton soup, egg role, General Taos, beef and black bean and the Cantonese sweet and sour pork. (sweet and sour pork not a usual, but thought I should try something that was being presented as authentic Chinese) The verdict, all was great. The correct saltiness, sweetness, ect.

Best chinese takout in Ottawa!. Dragon Express has to be the best Chinese Food take out I have had in Ottawa. The food is always so fresh and full of veggetables and meat.
Everything I order there is delicious.
The price is really fare and the portions are good.
They always pack everything very neatly and delivery is only $1!!
You also get free dishes depending on how much you spend.

I always order Singapore Vermicelli, Beef and brocoli, eggs rolls, hot and sour soup (not the best there), almond guyding, House speacial fried rice.
Just thinking about this is making me hungry!
