Quite possibly the best mexican food in ottawa, definitely the bestt ive ever had, Jim the chef made me question everything i knew about mexican food, his quesadilla's are amazing, his taco salad bowl is to die for, and his chili with home made tortilla chips are out of this world, if you like food this is THE place to eat!
They were super accommodating for my vegan diet, and the foods were delicious, with generous portions. A "small" bowl of vegetarian chili (which was at least as big as a normal sized cereal/soup bowl at home), plus a "single" sized container of guacamole (I would say it was about 3/4 cup, perhaps a bit less, but plenty for one person) and tortilla chips was $10.80 including taxes. Great food, for a great price!
The best taco salad bowl, you even get to eat the bowl! Everything is so good! Makes you feel like we have a little bit of Mexico with us.
EXCELLENT!!! From Toronto and have looked for a good Mexican food joint here in Ottawa for months. Finally!!! Enchilada Verde AMAZING!!!! Fresh lightly fried tortilla chips with fabulous guacamole and the pico de Gallo is fresh and perfectly seasoned. Vegetarian chili is smoky and spiced perfectly. If you’re looking for a great hot sauce with layers of flavours and a light smokiness with just the right hit of heat, look no further. This guy knows what he’s doing. 👌🏻

Amazing! Everything is fresh, delicious, and made in-house (or truck). I lived close by all year and I'm mad at myself for not trying Mexigo Cabana sooner!
