Had the mixed shawarma. It was amazing. Had the potatoes with garlic sauce. They were okay but I wouldn't order them again. Great fast service
Had chicken shawarma and potatoes it was very good. The shawarma was juicy, topped well and the potatoes were nice n hot. I will definitely return.
Best Shawarma in Barrhaven. Best price, best customer service (always so friendly, courteous and quick) and best garlic sauce. I've been going to Guava's for more than 5 years. I tried the 2 other locations and both are more expensive and never as tasty! Highly recommended. I love it there!! :)
Guava's is good to go. When eating Guava's take it to go. This "restaurant" is dirty and uninviting. The family platter is convenient and well priced, though the food is highly inconsistent. Every meal is like an international trip, you never know what to expect on the other side.
Can be good. Like others have said, this place is hit or miss. I used to go A LOT back when it first opened, but I noticed they had changed their garlic sauce and it wasn't quite up to the amazing standard that I remembered. I haven't been for a while, but I still consider it to be one of, if not the best shawarma in the West end.
Excellent chicken shawarma!! I was not happy another time when I ordered the patter... I thought I was getting a shawarma with sides but instead I got my a pita to make my own wrap. It was tonnes of food so it does not fit inside a pita.

Hit or miss. I frequently take out food from Guava's, but recently I have noticed that some days the food is very good and other days not. They offer a good selection of plates to order from. Shawarma, shawarma plates, chicken, beef, vegetarian, and so on. The amount of food given for the price is excellent and satisfying. I use to order the vegetarian plate often but now I stick to chicken. The last time I ordered the veggie plate the falafels were extremely dry and uneatable, and the vegetables were overly greasy and drenched in oil So now I stick to the chicken and salads.
